Tietomaa

Raahe is a town and municipality of Finland. Founded by Swedish statesman and Governor General of Finland Count Per Brahe the Younger in 1649, it is one of 10 historic wooden towns remaining in Finland. Examples of other Finnish historic wooden towns are Kaskinen , Old Rauma, Porvoo , Jakobstad , and Vaasa . After a devastating fire in 1810, Raahe was rebuilt adhering to new design principles which minimized the risk of fire and enlarged some civic spaces. Old Raahe is noted for its Renaissance-inspired rectilinear town plan featuring an unusual central-square with closed corners. 1. Tietomaa Oulu
Tietomaa is a science center in Oulu, Finland. It is located in Myllytulli neighbourhood near the city centre. It is the first science centre in Finland and it was opened in June 1988.Tietomaa is located in old buildings of the Veljekset Åström Oy, a former leather processing factory. The main exhibitions are located in the former power station. Tietomaa's 45-metre observation tower with a glass elevator outside the tower is a former water tower of the factory.

Solo Trip to Finland 2018 part 2 - final

Part 2 of Finland trip 2018 - solo trip on my birthday. Journey that took me almost 24 hours to get to my final and stayed there for just 2 nights. Is it worth it? for the experience...of course.
Went back with Qatar Airways Economy class and the food was nice. My seat was at the bulkhead so plenty of leg room and had a nice shot over the engine plane.
