Raahe is a town and municipality of Finland. Founded by Swedish statesman and Governor General of Finland Count Per Brahe the Younger in 1649, it is one of 10 historic wooden towns remaining in Finland. Examples of other Finnish historic wooden towns are Kaskinen , Old Rauma, Porvoo , Jakobstad , and Vaasa . After a devastating fire in 1810, Raahe was rebuilt adhering to new design principles which minimized the risk of fire and enlarged some civic spaces. Old Raahe is noted for its Renaissance-inspired rectilinear town plan featuring an unusual central-square with closed corners. 1. Nallikari Beach Oulu
Nallikari is a seaside resort located on an island in the Hietasaari district in Oulu, Finland. The resort can be reached year-round with the local bus routes 15 and 15N and during summertime with a trackless train called Potnapekka. The beach of Nallikari stretches for about half a kilometre.In addition to the beach, Nallikari resort includes a spa hotel, a camping area with rentable cottages and a seaside restaurant. A public beach was established by the city of Oulu in Nallikari in 1946. The camping area was opened in the early 1960s. There were about 40,000 total nights stayed in the camping area in the summer 2014.

Solo Trip to Finland 2018 part 2 - final

Part 2 of Finland trip 2018 - solo trip on my birthday. Journey that took me almost 24 hours to get to my final and stayed there for just 2 nights. Is it worth it? for the experience...of course.
Went back with Qatar Airways Economy class and the food was nice. My seat was at the bulkhead so plenty of leg room and had a nice shot over the engine plane.
