Bicol 630, Part 1 Tigaon to Joroan, Tiwi
Took off from the junction of Fuentebella Highway & Bicol 630 in Tigaon. Dropped by St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Sagnay with short stops at Atulayan Island View Point at 13°33'49.2N 123°31'46.5E & Partido Riviera Marker Viewpoint. End of this segment will be at Our Lady of Salvation Church in Joroan, Tiwi.
The view of Atulayan is not good since it was cloudy at the time but finally able to see Our Lady of Salvation Church in Joroan. Called NDRRMC Tiwi the evening before the travel to confirm about the rumored land slide in their area along Bicol 630 & the guy said he will call back. Sure enough, he did, informing the road is clear so the special mention of this guy, kudos Sir for the quick response.
Bicol 630 is the new name adopted as of 2014 of this highway connecting Tigaon to Legaspi City also known as Legaspi~Tiwi Coastal Road which is almost 120Km. Road condition is good except for the road widening/ repairs being done in some segments with zigzags between Sagnay & Tiwi. The Camarines Sur~Albay boundary marker along this road is at 13.522673,123.592282.
This is the route to Caramoan if coming from Tabaco / Legaspi Cities & vice versa.
Sagnay Tiwi coastal Road Camarines Sur - Albay Philippines
This road connects the municipalities Sagnay (Camarines Sur) and Tiwi (Albay). When traveling from Naga to Legazpi or Tabaco it is a very nice alternative route.
At about 26 km the road follows the mountinous coastline at the Lagonoy Gulf. It is one of the most beautiful roads I have ever seen. The views from the mountains to Atulayan Islands are unforgettable. Since a couple of years the road is completely restored and in a very good condition. All wooden bridges from before are replaced by concrete constructions.
Trip to Albay, Bicol, The Philippines
On a vacation in Albay, Bicol region in the Philippines.
Stayed for 5 weeks in Fatima, Tabaco City. Amazing nature to be found in this place, a real difference to my home country, the Netherlands. Tabaco City is a nice city not too big nor too small, with nice and interesting places to see, kind people to meet and a lot of karaoke bars.
Also visited a few water resorts, like Borcel. Very beautiful place surrounded by nature and an amazing fact is that it uses fresh river water to fill the swimming pools.
The beaches are nice and clean but not the usual white sands, since they are near Mayon volcano. And also enjoyed Jollybee and Graceland ;)

Best Beach and Resort in Bicol - Bagolatao Beach, White Pebbles Resort - Part I
I'm unaware that we have an awesome pebble beach near Naga City, province of Camarines Sur. White Pebbles Resort can be found in the barangay of Bagolatao in the town of Minalabac, just 40-45 minutes away from Naga City!
The road is rocky and uneven a sedan car would not be advised to travel. There are some areas that are one way and you need to be familiar with the place or a skilled driver to travel on your own. I would advise to rent a jeepney. Rate starts at 2,000 to 2,500 pesos.

Pinamuntugan Island and Vanishing Island are located in Bacacay, Albay.
You can rent a boat worth Php 3,000 good for 10-15 people! Travel time is 1-2hrs from Pili port of Bacacay. You can also visit the Vanishing Island while heading back to Pili port.
