Must Visit! Port Barton, San Vicente in Palawan!
A 3-hour away paradise from Puerto Princesa City. If you want to escape from your stressful work, I suggest visit this place. With its unspoiled beaches and friendly locals, plus the peaceful and un commercialized islands, it is one of the best place to relax.
Internet and phone signal is limited here. ATM is also not available in the area. No bars with loud music and electricity is on schedule. You will just enjoy the simple life in the beach.
We stayed here for 3 days at the West Point Inn, contact number is 0917 7744099. A super traveler-friendly place, coffee is free whenever you want. They also help us arrange our island hopping tour with Kuya Bebs, our boatman, contact number is 0927 808 6200.

The San Vicente Palawan Long Beach and New Airport (Philippines) | Sean Vlogs. Sean and Boom checks out San Vicente, Palawan which is an almost untouched part of Palawan that is home to one of the longest beaches in all of Asia during the inaugural opening of the San Vicente Airport.
Underdevelopment has seemingly preserved this part of Palawan with tourism in San Vicente being traditionally low compared to the rest of the island. But that will all be changing soon as the people of San Vicente prepare to open up their quaint and secluded part of Palawan to the rest of the world.
As tourism in the Philippines is expected to recover after a slight decline in 2017, the Department of Tourism (DOT) has implemented a series of aggressive and daring marketing schemes that appear to start revitalizing tourism in and to the country. With the Duterte administration’s controversial closing and reopening of one of the Philippines’ top tourist attractions, Boracay, the impacts from such an undertaking have yet to be quantified. But one can hope that the government can actually maintain its new regulations for tourism hotspots.
That’s why all eyes should be on San Vicente as it will be the testbed and ground zero for the DOT’s (newest branch) Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA) and its bold new tourism initiatives. San Vicente is actually a chance for the Government of the Philippines to get tourism right.

In this video we traveled from Puerto Princesa to Port Barton. Port Barton is the place to visit for a raw relaxed vibe in the Philippines which makes it very popular with backpackers especially. Had an amazing time chilling on the beach and trying some of the local food. Definitely recommend visiting this place if your in Palawan.

Want to avoid the over crowded boat tours of El Nido? Don't sleep on Port Barton's tours...they are half the cost and offer a much larger chance of swimming with sea turtles!
Honest tip: If you are only going to do 1 boat trip in Palawan, save it for El Nido or Coron. If you have the budget and want to snorkel/see as much as you can on your trip, do it in Port Barton as well! Here's the contact information for our boat captain Winn:

ROADTRIP TO SANTA ANA, CAGAYAN, PI
Took a road trip to Santa Ana and stayed at the Nagaramoan Beach Resort! Then took a boat to Palaui Island aka the island where Survivor Cagayan was held! Got great shots of the lighthouse of Cape Engaño, and the beautiful view around it after climbing 229 steps (thank you Stairmaster)!
