Travel bugs, if you're ever in South Thailand, I recommend going straight to Koh Phi Phi Islands. Everything was breathtaking - it was unreal!! Here's the list of places we visited and a bit more about them. Koh Phi Phi Islands consists of 6 islands, some points of interest include:
-Maya Bay: This was actually filmed in a movie starring Leonardo Dicaprio! Jungles, caves, soft sand, and gorgeous cliffs.
-Phileh Cove or The Lagoon: Slow cruise through towering cliffs.
-Viking Cave: no longer open but famous for the collection of bird's nests for healing purposes.
-Monkey Beach: it was high tide so we couldn't see the beach but you can see the monkeys playing around, climbing the cliffs! Of course they are a bit naughty ;)
-Loh Lana or Nui Bay: we actually stopped here to snorkel for a bit, it has beautiful coves & reefs!
-Paradise Private Bay: stunning, relaxing island with a nice restaurant situated right by the beach. Views and food for days!

10. Songkran Festival
The most obvious celebration of Songkran is the throwing of water upon others. Thais roam the streets with containers of water or water guns. In addition, many Thais will have small bowls of beige colored talc sold cheaply and mixed with water which is then smeared on the faces and bodies of random passersby as a blessing for the new year.
9. Chatuchak Market
Northern Bangkok's biggest draw is the Chatuchak Weekend Market, an incredibly vast, 35-acre indoor and outdoor market that has more than 8,000 vendors selling anything and everything under the sun. To put that number in perspective, if you browsed every stall one minute each, non-stop for eight hours on every Saturday and Sunday, it would take you around two months to visit them all! A good rule of thumb is to buy immediately if you spot something interesting, as you will never find that same stall again.
8. Wat Pho
Wat Pho, popularly known as the Temple of the Reclining Buddha is this the largest temple of Bangkok, and probably the oldest too, as it pre-dates the founding of the capital by about 200 years. Most foreign travellers come for the much-needed picture of themselves with the enormous Reclining Buddha - the largest reclining Buddha image in Thailand and possibly the largest in the world.
7. The Ruins of Ayutthaya
Founded around 1350, Ayutthaya became the second capital of Siam after Sukhothai. Throughout the centuries, an ideal location between China, India, and the Malay Archipelago made Ayutthaya the trading capital of Asia and even the world. By 1700 Ayutthaya had become the largest city in the world with a total of 1 million inhabitants.
6. Koh Samui
Ko Samui is an island in the Gulf of Thailand, about 700 km south of Bangkok and 80 km from the eastern coastline of Southern Thailand. An island of great natural beauty and variety, Samui is home to some 50,000 full-time inhabitants.. The palm-fringed shoreline and coconut and fruit cultivation of the coastal lowlands rise to a central granite massif, the slopes of which are cloaked in virgin rainforest.
5. Khao Sok National Park
Khao Sok National Park is a jungle reserve in Southern Thailand. It is one of the most beautiful wildlife reserves in Thailand. The park comprises the largest area of virgin forest in Southern Thailand and is a remnant of rainforest which is older and more diverse than the Amazon Rainforest.
4. The Grand Palace
Bangkok's most popular tourist attraction, the Grand Palace is the former residence of the King and is built adjacent to, and more or less integrated with Wat Phra Kaew (also known as the Temple of the Emerald Buddha). It covers a wide range of architectural styles, ranging from the pure Ayutthayan style of the temples to a blend of Thai and Western styles for later structures.
3. Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai is the hub of Northern Thailand. With a population of over 170,000 in the city proper, it is Thailand's sixth-largest city. On a plain at an elevation of 316 m, surrounded by mountains and lush countryside, it is much greener and quieter than the capital and has a cosmopolitan air and a significant expatriate population, all factors which have led many from Bangkok to settle permanently in this rose of the north.
2. Phang Nga Bay
Phang Nga Bay is a bay between Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi north of Ko Yao, known for its limestone rock formations. Most visitors explore the area in a one-day tour, but some larger islands have accommodation available. Phang Nga Bay is one of the most beautiful bays of Thailand. It is famous for its gravity-defying limestone formations, including James Bond Island (Ko Tapu).
1. Ancient Sukhothai
Sukhothai is a small city in Lower Northern Thailand, 427 kilometres north of Bangkok. Its attraction lies in the ruins of the ancient city Sukhothai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The name translates as the dawn of happiness. Ancient Sukhothai was the first capital of the Sukhothai Kingdom, a long arc of territory that ran through what is today's Laos and western Thailand as far as the Malay states.

CHIANG DAO CAVES - Not What We Expected!
Today we walked up the street from our accommodation to the Chiang Dao Caves - this is one of the ‘must see’ places when visiting the Chiang Mai / Chiang Dao region.
We love caves and find them fascinating, so we were very excited to see this network of caves. We had read all about them in blogs before going and had very high expectations, but once we were there our feelings about it all changed.
While the setting was lovely and the caves were impressive, we quickly felt sad about how this beautiful location was being managed.
Some information about visiting the Chiang Dao caves:
It cost 40 baht to gain entry to the caves, for this price you can walk in 2 chambers and see the temples. We would advise bringing a high powered torch as the cave ceilings are quite high and the lighting is not adequate or well positioned. You can pay 200 baht per person to go on a 30 minute tour which takes you on a loop through 3 other chambers. This tour is in groups, so pot luck as to how many people go with you. The guide takes a kerosene lamp. We’ve heard that it is not safety regulated in anyway. Old blog posts indicate that you can go through these 3 chambers without a guide if you bring your own torch but that is not the case anymore and they will not allow anyone to go into the caves without a guide.

PAI CANYON & LAND SPLIT: What’s The Difference?
We rented a scooter again today and this time we’re exploring dry land sites around Pai - the Pai Canyon and Land Split.
Pai Canyon is one of the top places to visit while in the area, apparently it’s best seen at sunrise or sunset however we went in the middle of the day and it was still stunning!
Not too far away is the Land Split - literally where the land has split apart. Surprisingly the land split isn’t that old, they have year posts next to each one and they all seemed to have occurred in the last 10 years or less.
Plus we’ve added a drive tour segment of Pai for those wanting to know what the town itself is like. To be honest there isn’t much to do in Pai except eat, drink and shop. But it’s a very chilled out town so it’s a great place to be after you’ve spent the day site seeing the surrounding areas.

Vietnam Travel: Island Life at Night: CON DAO TODAY
The night life in Vietnam can be entertaining for many in the major cities of Saigon, Da Nang, Nha Trang, and Ha Noi. However, on Vietnam's best islands, night life can be quite different. In fact, most people on Con Dao probably go to bed before 8 PM, but some on full moon nights scatter the beach in search of free seafood. The seafood sure is plentiful here. I met a few interesting locals to say the least during my brief visit on the beach. I had to leave because I cut my foot on a sharp clam.

Chiang Mai chỉ lạnh vào cuối năm, chứ mùa hè nắng nóng dữ lắm nha mọi người!
Hôm nay Khoai sẽ dẫn mọi người tham quan những ngôi làng của người Mông gần Chiang Mai, nằm ẩn trên ngọn nói Doi SuThep. Trên đây có đến 2 ngôi làng, một ngôi làng ở lưng chừng núi dành cho du lịch, và một ngôi làng trên đỉnh núi vẫn còn khá hoang sơ. Khi tham quan cung điện mùa hè hay chùa Wat Phrathat, mọi người nếu có thời gian thì nhớ chạy lên đây tham quan nha. Khoai thích ngôi làng trên đỉnh núi hơn vì nó dễ thương, và ít bị du lịch hóa. Đặc sản trên đây cũng không quá nhiều, mùa lạnh thì có dâu tây, cây đèn lồng, Khoai lang ăn sống (ở Việt Nam mình hiếm thấy hơn, gọi là khoai sâm, nhiều ở Lào Cai, Yên Bái, nhìn như khoai lang nhưng ăn y chang củ sắn, củ đậu lai mía).
Địa chỉ quán Khoai ăn và uống cà phê trong clip: RWR2+FQ Don Kaeo, Mae Rim, Chiềng Mai, Thái Lan. (cạnh nhà có vườn rau và vườn dâu, nhưng cũng tùy mùa mà cô trồng loại cây khác nhau)
Nếu đến đây mọi người chú ý giờ giấc, hoặc là ở lại qua đêm, không thì phải về trước 4 giờ chiều, vì đường rừng khá vắng và trời sẽ tối rất nhanh. Dọc đường đi có rất nhiều điểm để ngắm hoàng hôn lẫn bình minh, cuối clip Khoai ngắm hoàng hôn ở tọa độ (RV8Q+JM) đẹp muốn xỉu luôn
