Paddling Turkey Creek
A three hour kayaking trip on Palm Bay’s most popular waterway for paddlers, heading upstream through the bluffs of Turkey Creek Sanctuary. It was a surprise to see dam abruptly block the waterway, a reminder of the urban location. Turtles lounge on logs, manatees surface, and alligators float past. A pleasant paddle on Florida’s Space Coast.
