Close to Perth in Western Australia lies Rottnest Island. Rottnest has beautiful beaches, in this video its Salmon Bay but the clip starts off in the Kingstown Precinct which is the eastern most point of Rottnest. It's easy to get to Rottnest Island ( Rotto ), just a pleasant ferry ride away from the city centre of Perth or Fremantle. The most common way to get around the island is by bike. You can rent bicycles when you buy your ticket to the ferry, or on the island. Rottnest Island has several nice beaches and sites worth visiting. Along the way you'll probably catch a glimpse of the rare and cute Quokkas, The happiest animal in the world
