Stranda is a municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is part of the Sunnmøre region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Stranda. Stranda consists of three smaller villages and one larger central village. The smaller villages are Hellesylt, Geiranger, and Liabygda. The central village, Stranda , has about 2,600 inhabitants. There is also the small village of Helsem which is located just south of the village of Stranda.   • 3. Skagefla Geiranger
    Skageflå is one of a handful of historic mountain farms on the steep mountainsides along the Geirangerfjorden. It is located in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. Skageflå lies approximately 250 metres above the fjord. The farm is a 2 to 4 hour walk from the nearby village of Geiranger, and can also be reached with help of a local sightseeing boat . The boat takes passengers to a spot on the fjord just below the farm, from where they face a very steep half-hour climb. Coastal Odyssey, a sea kayaking company, runs guided kayaking tours with interpretation to the farm. Active Geiranger also does guided kayak trips to the farm as well as water taxi trips to the trail.     Sunnylven Church is a parish church in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Hellesylt, at the end of the Sunnylvsfjorden. The church is part of the Sunnylven parish in the Austre Sunnmøre deanery in the Diocese of Møre. There has been a church here in Hellesylt dating back to at least 1150. The church is a log construction from 1859 with a total of 400 seats. Captain Ludolph Rolfsen of Stryn Municipality designed the church based on drawings by Hans Ditlev Franciscus Linstow. Rolfsen also headed the construction of Hornindal Church and Nedstryn Church, both in the Nordfjord region to the south of here, and these churches share many features. Shipbuilder Nils A.     Liabygda Church is a parish church in Stranda Municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. It is located in the village of Liabygda, on the northern shore of the Norddalsfjorden. The church is part of the Liabygda parish in the Austre Sunnmøre deanery in the Diocese of Møre. The white, wooden church was built in 1917 by the architect Hans Buchner. The church seats about 165 people.

Olden is located at the mouth of the Oldeelva river at the northern end of the Oldedalen valley on the southern shore of the Nordfjorden. The 0.57-square-kilometre village has a population of 498, giving the village a population density of 874 inhabitants per square kilometre .
