Thailand's most quiet beach, Lamai is too quiet: KOH SAMUI
Originally, we want to visit Koh Tao and the other islands, but due to the incoming tropical storm we were unable to get there. The only island we were able to make was to Koh Samui. From what we've gathered, Koh Samui is perfect for parties, which wasn't what I was looking for. We wanted something that resembles Koh Tao; peaceful, small, beautiful views to relax and enjoy. Lamai is on the east part of Koh Samui and was recommended to us as an alternative. When we got there Lamai was quiet, perhaps maybe too quiet... But we did get to see fire dancing!
