A short tourism video about Warwick in Warwickshire.
Warwick is steeped in history and is home to one of Englands best loved tourist attractions, Warwick Castle, the finest medieval castle in England.
The town centre is small, but packed with old buildings such as St Mary's Church, and East Gate and West Gate.
There are some excellent bars and restaurants, plenty of boutiques and antique shops and two museums.
Warwick Racecourse enjoys a full calendar throughout the year offering a great day out at the races.
See for more details.

Time has not been kind to my favourite North Warwickshire line locations since my last visit seven years ago. I filmed the afternoon train at Tanworth-in-Arden, arriving just before the scheduled appearance to find the northern half of the view completely treed in. To add to my woes the train ambled around the curve at a pedestrian pace. I filmed the lunchtime pass, which is shown second, at Danzey Green where I found the location had sprouted a lot more vegetation and a new house to boot; at least the run past was more spirited on this occasion, much to the consternation of the local sheep!

Acocks Green Station via Olton Reservoir towards Solihull Station
On a sunny Saturday lunchtime of 4th February 2017.
On the train between Acocks Green Station and Solihull Station.
Passing Olton Station and Olton Reservoir.
Ignore the chatter in the background.
Olton Reservoir sometimes has yachts on it, and the only view I can see it from is from the train.
