FEIRA DE ARTE E ARTESANATO
Localizada na praia central de Ubatuba, a Feira de Artesanato é parada obrigatória para turistas e moradores do litoral norte de São Paulo, pois conta com vários produtos e serviços com os melhores artesãos do litoral e do estado. O artesanato tradicional de Ubatuba tem suas raízes nos trabalhos em taquara, palha e vime, desenvolvidos pelos índios. Depois mesclou-se com o barro e a madeira, utilizados com elegância pelos franceses que aqui se instalaram. Os artesãos do município em sua maioria produzem cestaria, trançado, entalhe e escultura em madeira. Os pintores tradicionais utilizam cores vivas e vibrantes sobre peças de cerâmica ou madeira, modeladas e estruturadas com as mesmas formas desenvolvidas por seus antepassados.
Artesanato Indígena: O Sertão do Promirim abriga a aldeia de índios guaranis, embora prefiram a distância dos brancos, esses índios expõem seu produto artesanal na rodovia Rio-Santos, nos fins-de-semana, próximo à cachoeira do Promirim. São cestos, balaios, arco e flecha, machadinha, chocalhos, colares de penas, conchas e contas, utilizando o cipó, o imbé e a taquara.
A “Feirinha” como é chamada é muito antiga, tem cerca de 30 anos, é 100% coberta e um ótimo passeio para quem quer comprar uma lembrancinha, encontrar artigos exóticos, bijuterias da moda, artigos indianos, luminárias artesanais, fazer tererê, tatuagem de henna, comprar roupas e até moveis, mesmo que não se compre nada vale a pena dar uma passada por lá. UNIAO DO PARQUE CURICICA is a samba school in Rio de Janeiro and is located in the neighborhood of Curicica which is in Rio’s West Zone bordering the districts of Jacarepaguá and Taquara. The school was founded in 1993, and its colors are red, white and blue. Its Drummers’ Queen is Simone Parente, the President is Wagner Raphael and its Carnavalesco is Marcus Ferreira.
For the 2016 Rio Carnival Samba School Parade Série A Group competitions, the school is scheduled to be the first school to perform on the Série A Group's second day at 9:00 pm in the evening of Saturday, February 6, 2016.
The school's 2016 performance theme, “enredo”, is entitled “Mamulengos’ Hearts”. The Mamulengo is a type of puppet popularized during colonial periods in Northeastern Brazil, mainly in the state of Pernambuco. The town of Olinda, Pernambuco is home to the Mamulengo Museum.
