Until January 1, 2007 Tørring-Uldum municipality was a municipality in the former Vejle County on the Jutland peninsula in central Denmark. The municipality covered an area of 189 km², and had a total population of 12,519 . Its last mayor was Kirsten Terkelsen, a member of the Venstre political party. The site of its municipal council was the town of Uldum. The largest town in the municipality was Tørring. Tørring-Uldum municipality was, as a result of Kommunalreformen , merged with other municipalities.   • 2. Djurs Sommerland Nimtofte
    Djurs Sommerland is an amusement park located in Djursland, Denmark. It resides just north of the village of Nimtofte, 23 kilometers west of Grenaa, and 36 kilometers east of Randers. The park opened in 1981, and it has progressively expanded every year since then. The park is, as suggested in the name, predominantly open in the summer, with the recent addition of special Halloween opening-days in October. The season begins around May and lasts until mid-October. Djurs Sommerland has had around 800,000 annual visitors in recent years, making the park the fifth largest tourist attraction in Denmark.

    Egå Engsø is an artificial lake and wetland site located in the north of the town of Aarhus between Vejlby, Risskov and Lystrup. Engsø means 'meadow lake' and Egå means 'oak stream', referring to the stream that drains the lake into the Aarhus bay. The lake area is bordered by the Djursland motorway to the north and the Aarhus-Grenaa railway and the municipal heating pipes from Studstrup Power Station to the south and west.

    The Jelling stones are massive carved runestones from the 10th century, found at the town of Jelling in Denmark. The older of the two Jelling stones was raised by King Gorm the Old in memory of his wife Thyra. The larger of the two stones was raised by King Gorm's son, Harald Bluetooth, in memory of his parents, celebrating his conquest of Denmark and Norway, and his conversion of the Danes to Christianity. The runic inscriptions on these stones are considered the best known in Denmark.
