Ustina Point is a rocky point on the west coast of Tower Island in the Palmer Archipelago, Antarctica situated 2.6 km northwest of Peña Point, the south extremity of the island, and 3.5 km south of Kranevo Point. The point is named after the settlement of Ustina in southern Bulgaria.

The monastery is named after its founder, the hermit Ivan of Rila , and houses around 60 monks. Founded in the 10th century, the Rila Monastery is regarded as one of Bulgaria's most important cultural, historical and architectural monuments and is a key tourist attraction for both Bulgaria and Southern Europe. In 2008 alone, it attracted 900,000 visitors. The monastery is depicted on the reverse of the 1 lev banknote, issued in 1999.

One hypothessis is the mountain was named after Perun, the highest god of the Slavic pantheon and the god of thunder and lightning. Another version is that the etymology of the range derives from the Thracian word Perinthos, meaning Rocky Mountain.
