The Best Place in Negros Occidental Philippines!
BEST STREET FOOD IN VICTORIAS CITY || VLOG 6
Come travel with me to Victorias City's Public Plaza!
This little vendor right next to the City Hall of Victorias is by far my go-to place for the best street food in the city. They have an array of food such as fish balls, tempura, and kwek kwek. However, my favorite street food that keeps me coming back every time is their FRIED ISAW which are CHICKEN INTESTINES!

VICTORIAS CITY KADALAG AN FESTIVAL AFTER MOVIE
VICTORIAS CITY KADALAG AN FESTIVAL AFTER MOVIE
Victorias City is known as the City of victory. It commemorates the glorious and victorious past of the people of Victorias. It is a weeklong celebration that highlight every 21st of March. Activities like the Search for Kadalag-an Queen, street and arena dance where only few of the lined up activities.
Kadalag-an Festival is celebrated with Victorias City’s Charter Day as its most important event. It is held to celebrate the shifting of Victorias into a “city” from its “municipality” status. It's more fun in the Philippines.

Negros Occidental: Oh, Our Sugary Days!
Lakawon – Sipalay – Bacolod City
The Sugarbowl of the Philippines
Let’s start with our DIY ticket purchase. Luckily, we’re able to book a round trip ticket (Manila – Bacolod) for only P865.24/pax. We booked on the 28th of December 2017. Almost a year of waiting is definitely worth it! Here’s our DIY travel for 3 days and 2 nights!
Day 1 – Lakawon Island Resort & Spa (Cadiz Viejo)
• We booked our accommodation thru their website. No hassle, you just need a super card... a credit card! Or, you may opt to pay thru bank deposit!
• For only P4,950, good for 8 persons, you get a dorm type room with super duper lamig AC, and an LED TV na namali ata ng pwesto, hehe... kasi you won’t be able to watch it kung wala ka sa upper bunk beds! And the bonus...... 2 pcs of pillow for each single bed! (o, diba, bihira yun!)
• Generous sila sa bathroom (and shower room), as in madami! Yun nga lang it’s for sharing para sa lahat ng guests ng dorm type rooms. Malinis naman and i think it can accommodate all guests kung puno man kasi madami talaga!
• Tip #1: Bring your food para makatipid. Be discreet lang!
• Tip #2: Wag kayo pupwesto sa harap ng bangka while travelling to Lakawon, kung ayaw nyong mabasa ang pang OOTD nyo! 20 minutes lang naman via boat! (1 hour away ang Cadiz Port from Bacolod Airport via land)
Day 2 – Aidas’ Chicken House (Bacolod City)
• Mesherep!!! Authentic!
Day 2 – Perth Paradise Resort (Sipalay)
You also have to take 125 steps (sa bilang namin yan) paakyat to see the Paradise! Hindi overrated! Paradise talaga ang view!!!
• We booked our accommodation thru call lang sa CP 09460590076. Very accommodating si Ateng sa lahat ng calls and texts! Thru LBC nga lang pala ang payment method ha.. 1k to reserve yung samin para sa family room na good for 6 pax for only P4,500. Pero we add P200 each for extra persons. Mura diba? Ang lamig din ng AC!
• Sarap ng food! Special mention yung chicken curry! For P300 worth of dish, kasya na for 3-4 persons!
• Kayak is love! You can also try island hopping which we failed to do, since we only have limited time.
Day 3 – The Ruins (Talisay City)
• Tip #3: Read the history. Hehe. Para romantic. The Taj Mahal of the Philippines! Alam na this!
• Tip #4: Do not go there on weekends or holidays. Hindi nyo masosolo ang place! Madami photobombers, promise!
• Para sa P100 entrance per person, a bit pricey sya for us! Tsk!
• Tip #4: From The Ruins, madadaanan nyo yung Bacolod Signage na bago, Las Vegas ang peg.
• Tip #5: For safe and comfortable travel, since we have 2 toddlers travelling with us, we hired a private van from Day 1 to Day 3 na yun. Sulit! Daming tips from Mr. Anthony Cabute.
You can comment or PM us and we will give you the best help that we could! More travelling with the goofies soon!!!! Safe travels everyone!
