Ride a Bus from the Santiago Chile Airport
Step by step how to take the bus from the Santiago, Chile airport into downtown Santiago to connect with the Santiago’s extensive metro system. Check out for more details on taking the bus and using the Santiago, Chile metro. We have used the inexpensive Centropuerto public bus from the airport several times. The bus fare is currently 1800 chilean pesos for a one-way ticket. The bus runs from the airport to the Los Heroes metro stop and leaves every 10 minutes during the day from 6:00am until 11:30pm, and overnight, the bus runs hourly. Today while standing on the balcony looking down over Plaza de Armas in Santiago de Chile city, I felt inspired to go see beautiful things. Had my sights set on the Pablo Neruda museum which turned out to be closed for the day. Wasn't an art museum anyway, just one of his former homes in the Chilean capital. Ended up doing some sightseeing in Santiago city centre which turned out to be beautiful in itself. Great day walking around Santiago Chile in the sun meeting all sorts of people finding more than a few interesting places. The small, intimate park Cerro Santa Lucia with the all round view of the city impressed me the most. Has the tomb of Benjamin Vicuna Mackena at the top. Something very South American about it which has a literary tradition in magical realism. Nice day spent sightseeing and walking around the capital of Chile. A Lot going on on the streets and there is always something to see when traveling in Santiago, go visit this Chilean city!

The last day of travel, Villa Rica Volcano control in Pucon saw there a year and partially solved. Tourists on the lookout altitude of 1400 meters have been enjoying the landscape of the volcano. By the earthquake in the vicinity of Santiago, it is coming up more smoke the smoke of Villa Rica Volcano high. Soon even it seems to be volcanic eruption. Villa Rica Volcano Trekking arrive and walk to the crater in 2800 meters take the lift up to 1600 m above sea level. Today, the state has stopped the lift station in the aftermath of the earthquake. Top of the volcano is also accessible controls climbed tourists walk up to 1600 meters above sea level points below normal. I climb up to 1600 meters above sea saw point along the skiers. Nature of the Andes was soft cozy. There, encounters and spectacular sanjulgi of the Andes. It hangs 7,000 kilometers from north to south to see the world's longest mountain range in the chest beats a moving experience. Trekking on the volcano, sled, skis can enjoy the adventures of Villa Rica is the most popular national park in Chile. Without the earthquake it would have seen a different skiing active volcanoes come down from the mountain top. Is 2008 meters above sea level in the Andes Mountains to see how the bag top is spectacular appearance? This trip was a disappointment remains. It's all here, landscape and snow, the summit is really good. Unfortunately, the summit did not go up because of the danger alarm. But the weather is really good and happy to be here.
