Vienna, Austria Travel Guide - Top 10 Must-See Attractions
Vienna is the capital and largest city of Austria, and one of the nine states of Austria. Vienna is Austria's primary city, with a population of about 1.757 million and is by far the largest city in Austria, as well as its cultural, economic, and political centre. It is the 7th-largest city by population within city limits in the European Union.
The most important places to visit in Vienna are: Schönbrunn, a UNESCO world heritage site (this imposing palace complex should be a must see for every visitor coming to the wonderful city of Vienna), St. Stephen's Cathedral (one of the most important icons of Vienna. This cathedral has been a witness to many important events in Austria's history), Belvedere (like other grand palaces of Vienna, this is a magnificent palace complex. Set against beautiful landscaping, its inside has great artwork), Museum of Art History (one of the greatest museum buildings in the world, this 19th century landmark displays the art collection from the Habsburg Empire), Vienna City Hall (this splendid gothic style structure houses the local city government. More than 2,000 fortunate people work in the City Hall), Secession Building (this striking building was constructed in the late 19th century. Today it houses contemporary artworks that changes periodically), Vienna Opera House (few opera houses are as spectacular as this one. In this world class venue, be sure to catch a concert performance), Hundertwasserhaus (designed to show unpredictability, a unique residential building with crooked floors, varied colors curved walls, and a forest on the roof), Hofburg (Vienna is a city of grand palaces. Among the most lavish is Hofburg. The Habsburg's empire was ruled from here for seven centuries) and many more.
This video offers a lot of tips to help you plan the perfect vacation. If you want to save time and money, the most important Vienna travel tip is to compare prices before booking a hotel room or a flight. You can do this for free on a site that searches through hundreds of other travel websites in real time for the best travel deals available.

Vienna - Top 3 landmarks/places to see in Vienna, Austria in 4K
Before the sudden end of the Austro-Hungarian Empire in 1918, the city was a powerhouse that ran the central states of Europe. For hundreds of years, merchants and politicians, artists and architects, writers and musicians flocked here. Mozart, Beethoven and Schubert lodged within walking distance of each other. Klimt, Freud and Mahler visited the same cafés. This relatively small city on the edge of the Hungarian plains became one of the wealthiest, most powerful and most beautiful in Europe.
Today it is extraordinary to walk round the centre of Vienna and find so much history and art in such a small place. Even outside the Ringstrasse, the wide boulevard that replaced the 13th-century city walls, the density of historical sites is extraordinary. While Vienna may have a reputation as being one of the most musical cities in the world, that is to ignore its contribution to painting and architecture. And if culture weren’t enough to attract the visitor, the Viennese love of food, wine, beer and coffee will certainly attract gourmet and gourmand alike.
It is also worth remembering that although Vienna remains refreshingly elegant and refined (most shops still shut on a Sunday), it is not in the least bit stuck in the past. A flurry of new hotels and restaurants have opened in recent years and the contemporary art scene is breathing new blood into an already highly sophisticated arts scene. The classic and the contemporary now sit side by side.
In this video we have put together 3 historical places that you must visit while you are in Vienna. Although Vienna has much more historical landmarks or places to offer we believe this top 3 list should be the first places to visit while you are in Vienna.

Vienna, Austria In One Day \ Part I (বাংলা সাবটাইটেলের জন্য CC তে ক্লিক করুন)
Austria Travel Vlog - Part one of our Vienna travel vlog is here. It was hard considering the list of things to see and do in Vienna is endless. To pick the best or the top things to do here is quite mind boggling. The city area within the ring is full of tourist attractions. There a huge trukish population here so travelling here as a Muslim travel vlogger was pretty easy, there were about 15-16 mosques around the city, including one in the central rail station.

VIENNA PASS | Top things to do in Vienna | Is the Vienna Pass Worth It?
Today, I used the Vienna Pass to visit a lot of great sights in Vienna. The Vienna Pass is different than the Vienna Card. The Vienna Card gives you discounts to a lot of place and is fine. But the Vienna Pass gets you into many top things to do in Vienna for free.
The Vienna Pass is a lot more expensive though. I paid about $120 Euros for a 3-day pass + about 17 Euros for the free transportation add-on. I probably didn't need the transportation add-on because, frankly, the Vienna Hop On Hop Off buses, which are included in the Vienna Pass, got me everywhere I wanted to go.
You can find out if the Vienna Pass is worth it for you by reading my post here.
Is the Vienna Pass Worth the Price:
I visited Schönbrunn Palace, the Military Museum, Belvedere Palace, and so many more places during my three-day tour of Vienna. For me, the Vienna Pass was definitely worth it because I was going to see all these Vienna highlights and more.
Whether or not it's right for you depends on what you want to see and how good you are at planning!

AirBnB
While I was in Vienna, I stayed at an AirBnB. If you want to give AirBnB a try on your next trip, I recommend you do. You usually get the privacy of a hotel at a far cheaper price, and it makes your trip more personal.
You can get $40 off your first stay by using our referral link:
Normally here, I'd link to the AirBnB I stayed at. But not this time. It didn't live up to my expectations, so I am not going to recommend this one. Still, AirBnB is an excellent option here in Vienna and there are lots of good bargains.
