Travelling Around Viñales, Cuba
Viñales was probably our favourite place in all of Cuba. The tobacco plantations, the limestone karsts, the nearby beaches and the hospitable people all added up for one amazing travel experience. Check out this video and see why we loved it so much!

This video contains some of my shots from our latest visit to Cuba. It is definitely a destination worth visiting, and has not fell short from my expectations.
Our stay was 15 days long, in which we travelled from Havana to Vinales, Cienfuegos, Trinidad and finally, back to Havana. Havana is definitely my top pick and highlight of this trip, followed closely by Pinar Del Rio region (Vinales etc...). I hope you enjoy this video :)

We just got back from a trip to Cuba!
CUBA TIPS:
1. Bring cash! I would budget for $100USD per day for two... allowing for transport (taxi collectivos are the best) and activities, ie horse riding in Vinales.
- Convert cash to anything but USD. There is a conversion fee PLUS 10% because its USD. I changed to Pesos, others changed to Canadian dollars, whatever works!
- We never even tried to use our cards.
2. Book your accommodation in Havana on Air BNB then plan the rest as you go! You'll quickly realise Cuba is like nowhere else on earth.
If you stay in a Casa Particular. The hosts will be happy to call their friends or family in the next town you're going to and book your next casa for you, same goes for Taxi's (which in our experience we're no more expensive than the buses and a lot more fun because you get to travel in the 1950's cars and meet other travelers).
Everyone is willing to help you, if you turn up in a town with no bookings just look for the blue casa particular sign (you'll recognise them pretty quickly) and knock on a door asking for habitacion para dos personas (room for two people) and you'll be set. Most people don't speak much English but you can get by with basic Spanish
