Oramala Castle | Italia Slow Tour
The Oramala Castle is located between the Staffora Valley and the Nizza Valley, in the Oltrepò Pavese area. It dates back the 11th and 12th centuries, and it was conceived by the Malaspina family. But Oramala Castle was famous above all because this is where the Troubadours of Provençe came! Nowadays the castle is opened to visitors for very special events, every Sunday afternoon, from the end of April through to the end of October.

Gulf of La Spezia: Tellaro | Italia Slow Tour
At the edge of the Gulf of La Spezia we find Tellaro, the adoptive village of the Italian writer Mario Soldati, perched on the rocks. From here you can continue along a series of itineraries, for instance to Porto Venere and Bocca di Magra. There is also a path for experienced excursionists.

Pavia and its region
The province of Pavia is rich in history and art, the green landscape is reflected in the rice paddies of Lomellina, and flows through the rolling hills of Oltrepò.
This is a province full of countless castles, churches and abbeys in age-old villages and towns waiting to be discovered.
But this is also a province renowned for its excellent foods and wines: the famous goose meat salami of Mortara, the sausage meats of the Oltrepò all to be tasted with a glass of the excellent local wine, only a couple of examples of the many local dishes and products, grown and prepared from natural produce with loving care according to traditional recipes.
Bergamo nascosta e dimenticata: il Castello dell'Allegrezza
In mezzo al folto bosco dell'Allegrezza, nella Conca di Astino, è situato l'omonimo castello, o meglio le sue affascinanti vestigia abbandonate. Il corpo di fabbrica, impostato su una corte invasa dalla vegetazione, è accessoriato da una torre quadrata, priva di copertura. L'ingresso ad arco, le belle pietre squadrate, gli ambienti interni, superstiti, lasciano pensare che fosse un fortilizio importante, del quale si ha notizia negli Statuti del 1343, quando apparteneva alla potente famiglia dei Suardi. Andiamo quindi ad affrontare questa ennesima avventura, alla scoperta di una Bergamo nascosta e dimenticata.
