Members of the committee on Racial Equity on Ames & Johnson are pushing the city of St. Paul to build a 4-way traffic light on the intersection of Ames Ave and Johnson Pkwy next to Hmong Village Shopping Center. They met with County Commissioner Jim McDonough and others but were told that a traffic light will not be a viable solution, instead they have proposed other options. The committee is fighting back
