A Family Outing To Carmel, CA (Saturday, April 26, 2014)
Watch in high quality (480p). Me and my family decided to visit Carmel-By-The-Sea, CA this day since it has been a while since we've seen the sea, let alone breath the fresh sea breeze.
Carmel is a city in Monterey County and known for its natural beauty and scenery. The weather was great out! Despite the bright and sunny fogless weather, temps this day were on the cool side for here with afternoon highs hovering around the 60-degree mark. We had arrived to the beach of Carmel, known as Carmel Beach City Park, before 2 p.m. The waves appeared a bit bigger than usual. We just simply chilled and relaxed and baked in the sun, while enjoying and taking in the scenic views.
After satisfying our eyes and senses, we decided to go eat our late lunch. We stayed in the area to eat. We ate at the A.W. Shucks Cocktail & Oyster Bar. There was a mini wait so we just walked around a bit, looking around the shops. Then finally they called us in. I ordered the fish and chips of course. They had the best fried calamari!
After the delicious lunch, we continued walking around the shops. I was with my sister while my parents went to go buy some hats lol. After a bit of shopping, we then met up and called it a day. Me and my mom visited the Devendof park very briefly, seeing also one of the largest trees in the village, a Coast Live Oak! My sis and dad went ahead to the car. The remainder of the video shows the road trip home.
Though it was a short visit, it was a great time to be by the sea with the family!
