It holds a large and varied collection of 350 oldtimers, European and American automobiles from the late 19th century until the seventies. La bella macchina from December 3, 2015 for two months at the Autoworld museum in Brussels.
In a setting that breathes the unique atmosphere of an Italian city, fifty exclusive and legendary Italian cars are assembled from the golden era of Italian car from the fifties to the eighties, to let visitors dream. One of the eye-catchers is definitely the unique Alfa Romeo Disco Volante 1952 and the recent remake, has just been realized by Touring Superleggera.
Manufacturers such as Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Lancia and Alfa Romeo came in that time ever more ingenious from the corner to make their engines even more efficient. Designers and coachbuilders such as Pininfarina, Bertone, Gandini, Giugiaro, Zagato, Spada and Touring Superleggera were asked everywhere, even far beyond Italy. The Italian signature acquired a worldwide fame.
Dans une scénographie recréant l’ambiance unique d’une ville italienne, une cinquantaine des plus incontournables voitures produites durant l’âge d’or de l’automobile italienne, entre les années ‘50 et ‘80, se laisseront admirer de près par les visiteurs, à commencer par une des rares Alfa Romeo Disco Volante de 1952 et la plus récente qui vient d’être réalisée par Touring Superleggera.
La bella macchina' est à l’honneur dès le 3 décembre 2015 pour une durée de deux mois au musée Autoworld à Bruxelles.
A cette époque, des constructeurs tels Ferrari, Maserati, Lamborghini, Lancia, Alfa Romeo… rivalisaient d’ingéniosité pour rendre leurs moteurs plus performants. Des designers et des carrossiers comme Pininfarina, Bertone, Gandini, Giugiaro, Zagato, Spada, Touring Superleggera… étaient sollicités de toutes parts et bien au-delà de leurs frontières. Les signatures italiennes avaient acquis un prestige unique au monde.La voiture 'made in Italy' fascine toujours. Elle est devenue synonyme tout autant de passion, d’élégance, de dolce vita, mais aussi d’extrême et de fureur de vivre.
