Walking Tour of Carmel, Calif (Carmel-by-the-Sea)
If you are planning a California trip to Carmel-by-the-Sea, also known simply as Carmel, then this video will show you what to expect! We walk down Ocean Ave. to the beach with stops along the way, including a stop at Dametra Café. We'll show you the famous Carmel beach and take a walk down Scenic Road. Finally after a day at the beach and a stop at the Thursday Farmers Market, we head to dinner at Flaherty's Seafood restaurant. We finish the day resting around the fire pit at the Candle Light Inn!

Come with us as we start our California adventure in Carmel, California. This week, we'll visit Carmel, Yosemite, Hollywood, Disneyland, and San Fransisco.
The week starts out in Carmel at the Hofsas House Hotel. Everything in Carmel is walking distance from the Hofsas House. They were amazing hosts and our family had a wonderful time staying with them.
We explored downtown Carmel, the northern California coastline including Big Sur and the Point Lobos State Reserve, and had a bonfire at the beach with some s'mores. It was a fun, relaxing time.

Carmel-by-the-Sea, often called simply Carmel, is a city in Monterey County, California, USA, founded in 1902 and incorporated on October 31, 1916. Situated on the Monterey Peninsula, Carmel is known for its natural scenery and rich artistic history. In 1906, the San Francisco Call devoted a full page to the artists, poets and writers of Carmel-by-the-Sea, and in 1910 it reported that 60 percent of Carmel's houses were built by citizens who were devoting their lives to work connected to the aesthetic arts. Early City Councils were dominated by artists, and the city has had several mayors who were poets or actors, including Herbert Heron, founder of the Forest Theater, bohemian writer and actor Perry Newberry, and actor-director Clint Eastwood, who was mayor for one term, from 1986 to 1988.
The city is known for being dog-friendly, with numerous hotels, restaurants and retail establishments admitting guests with dogs. Carmel is also known for several unusual laws, including a prohibition on wearing high-heel shoes without a permit, enacted to prevent lawsuits arising from tripping accidents caused by irregular pavement.
Carmel-by-the-Sea is located on the Pacific coast, about 330 miles (530 km) north of Los Angeles and 120 miles (190 km) south of San Francisco. As of the 2010 census, the town had a total population of 3,722, down from 4,081 at the 2000 census.

Since I share pretty much about my day to day on my Insta stories I decided that I wanted to put a little bit more of work on putting together a nice videos! And here I am. The first one of a short road trip to Carmel by the Sea! This little town is about 2 hours from where I live (San Francisco and Bay Area) it is one of the most beautiful places I’ve seen in the area!
