Yamanote line walking: Komagome to Sugamo
This is the twelfth video of the walking series betweens Yamanote's line stations. Yamanote line is the train that loop around the periphery of downtown Tokyo. There are 29 stations and 1 more that will finish in the 2020(between Shinagawa station and Tamachi station). June and rainy season also means it’s the season for the grey month’s most iconic flower: ajisai, the Japanese hydrangea. To see the blue beauties in bloom right here in Tokyo, head for Hakusan Shrine and its popular Ajisai Matsuri, which features up to 3,000 flowers spread out over an area reaching from the shrine toward nearby Hakusan Park. The shrine itself is known for its power to heal dental ills (!), so you might be able to catch a toothbrush offering or the like during the event period.

Yutenji (祐天寺 yūtenji) is a temple of the Pure Land Sect of Buddhism in Nakameguro, Meguro, Tokyo, Japan.
In 1718, the 3rd year of the Kyōhō era, the 36th Buddhist monk of Zōjōji called Yūten (祐天 yūten) died. One of his disciples, Yumi (祐海 yumi), built Yutenji as his shrine and made him the founder.

Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line
The Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line (東京地下鉄丸ノ内線 Tōkyō Chikatetsu Marunouchi-sen) is a subway line of the Tokyo Metro system in Tokyo, Japan. The line runs in a U-shape between Ogikubo Station in Suginami and Ikebukuro Station in Toshima, with a branch line between Nakano-Sakaue Station and Hōnanchō Station. The official name is Line 4 Marunouchi Line (4号線丸ノ内線 Yon-gōsen Marunouchi-sen).
Korakuen
In Japanese, the term kōraku in Kōrakuen (後楽園, Kōraku Park) refers to later pleasures. It comes from a yojijukugo senyū kōraku (先憂後楽) which means hardship now, pleasure later. It is derived from a poem by Fan Zhongyan.
