Other than the occasional bar/cafe, avoid this area of Belgium like the plague. It's a total tourist trap, with horrible food and incredibly obnoxious people. My advise? Walk through once -- like a haunted house -- and never go back!

Delirium Café is a bar in Brussels, Belgium, known for its long beer list, standing at 2,004 different brands in January 2004 as recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. On offer are beers from over 60 countries, including many Belgian beers.
The bar is located in the small alley called Impasse de la Fidélité/Getrouwheidsgang, only a couple of hundred metres from the Grand Place. The Jeanneke Pis statue is across the street from the entrance.
The bar's name comes from the beer Delirium Tremens, whose pink elephant symbol also decorates the café's entrance.

Inside Brussel's Delirium Cafe
We spent half a day in Brussels, Belgium. We had a quick stop in between train transfers from Paris to Bruges. We wanted to sample the famous Belgian beer and Delirium Cafe was the perfect place to go. With a collection of over 2,000 beers there's something for everyone. I prefer a sweet, fruity tasting beer and was recommended Barbar Blond. It was love at first taste.

Moved to BRUSSELS, BELGIUM! First Impressions of Europe
I just moved to Brussels in Belgium! Not only that, I've never been in Europe(excluding Iceland)! On my first adventure since moving here, I wanted to familiarize myself with my new home. This tour included Grand Place, Manneken-Pis (Peeing Fountain) and Delirium Cafe! All within walking distance, this was a good day.

Delirium Café is a bar in Brussels, Belgium, known for its long beer list, standing at 2,004 different brands in January 2004 as recorded in the Guinness Book of Records. On offer are beers from over 60 countries, including many Belgian beers.
The bar is located in the small alley called Impasse de la Fidélité/Getrouwheidsgang, only a couple of hundred metres from the Grand Place. The Jeanneke Pis statue is across the street from the entrance.
Jeanneke Pis is a modern fountain and statue in Brussels, which was intended to form a counterpoint to the city's Manneken Pis, south of the Grand Place.
It was commissioned by Denis-Adrien Debouvrie in 1985 and erected in 1987.[1][2][3] The half-metre-high bronze statue depicts a little girl with her hair in short pigtails, squatting and urinating on a blue-grey limestone base.
The Grand Place is the central square of Brussels. It is surrounded by opulent guildhalls and two larger edifices, the city's Town Hall, and the King's House or Breadhouse building containing the Museum of the City of Brussels. The square measures 68 by 110 metres (223 by 361 ft).
The square is the most important tourist destination and most memorable landmark in Brussels. It is also considered as one of the most beautiful squares in Europe, and has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998.
