Sean Kershaw Sing Sing Sadie 1 24 15 Fairview Talkeetna AK
New song, new sound! Sean Kershaw debuts a fresh tune in Talkeetna, AK at the Fairview Inn.
Band du tour: Bruce Martin on drums, Jason Hogue on bass, and Kenny Blackwell on Sax (and flute and percussion on some tunes)
Lyrics:
Sing Sing Sadie she’s a shady shady lady
Does her business in the backseat of a limousine
Formaledehyde Frannie is the queen of all the dandies
She can do it she can be it she’s lean and mean
Kitty Kalashnikova in a silver Range Rover
Is the white hot surveyor of all the scene
Murder Mile Mollie oh so sweet and fat and jolly
She’s a killer she’s a diller she’s a love machine
Honey Hush Helen from Hell Hollow Hills
Massaging her melons til the friction kills
If you’re on the run from the run of the mill
Ain’t no finer place to get your thrills
Than Sing Sing Sadie’s little house around the corner
Come inside and hang around until you get your fill
Delicious D’Nile holding all with her smile
So enticing smooth as ice gettin all the green
Bag o’Bones Betty way out on the jetty
Biddin’ bon voyage to the employees
Gretchen von Busen on the boulevard cruisin’
Greetin’ sailors from the Navy to the Merchant Marine
Risin Sun Suzuki doin the bootyshake kabuki
And if that ain’t enough there’s more fish in the stream
The mayor, the banker, the chief of police
Sadie’s got them on their knees
Cuz Sadie she does as she pleases
With her little black book and her set of keys
And Sing Sing Sadie’s little house around the corner
Where the blue light shines and the lovin’s easy
Come inside
Hang around
Take your time
At the most relaxing joint in town

Talkeetna Alaska Lodge : A Small Town Fall Wedding | Lauren Roberts
A Small Town Fall Wedding:
This is the story of Sara & Jimmy. This Chicago girl saw this Talkeetna man on the dance floor and the Talkeetna man saw her back. She grew to love him, and he loved her. It was the most golden fall day in all the land when these two wed at the Talkeetna Alaska Lodge. Take a watch and soak in the warm hues and bright sunshine of this small town fall wedding, complete with a taco bar and after party at The Fairview Inn!
If you're keen on a film on your Alaska wedding day, I'd love to chat! Get in touch here:

More aboout Wasteland Hop
Wasteland Hop is an indie hip-hop band from Fort Collins, Colorado. Their unique sound has one foot in the groovin' live hip hop of The Roots and another in the brash, bluesy rock of The Black Keys. The centerpiece of each Wasteland Hop song is the interplay between Mickey Kenny (an MC with the heart of a slam poet) and Steph Jay (a songstress with a soulful wail).

Talkeetna Love-Lee Cabins - Premier Talkeetna Lodging
- Talkeetna Love-Lee Cabins (TLC) is the premier lodging destination in Talkeetna, Alaska. We opened our doors in 2015 and satisfied many customers in our first year. We learned years ago while working for Big-Box tour companies that people don’t always get the star treatment they deserve as individuals. Often they are treated as a small piece of a very large group. Getting “processed” down a tourism assembly line isn’t what we believe that people save up for all of their lives to experience on the trip of a lifetime. We believe that you take the trip of a lifetime to gather experiences you’ll never want to forget for the rest of your life. That is what we want to help you achieve here at TLC.
We have given careful thought to selecting high-end plumbing fixtures and jetted tubs (with furnished bath salts), comfortable hotel-quality beds and linens, furnished kitchens, wifi, and satellite television on large HD flat screen TV's. That’s what our cabins are about.
As far as service is concerned, we offer a BBQ grill station and campfire area where guests can gather around on a nice evening and have a great visit and mingle with other guests. We offer the ability to book many of the local tours right from TLC so you don’t have to run around trying to find out what’s available.
We also love to offer suggestions on all of the little-known things to see and do that most visitors really don’t get a chance to experience because they’re busy trying to fill their time finding a scheduled time to get “slotted into” somewhere.
Beautiful Downtown Talkeetna is located at Mile 14 at the end of the Talkeetna Spur Road. We are Mile 11.7, which is 2.3 miles before you get Downtown right on the Talkeetna Spur Road and the corner of Love-Lee Lane. There is a paved bike path that runs the entire length of the Spur Road, right next to our property. In addition, we are located centrally to many great walking-distance activities, such as many x-country ski trails, X-Y Lakes, Christiansen Lake, Denali and Alaska Range Lookout, Flying Squirrel Bakery & Café, Talkeetna Alaska Lodge Dining Room, and much more. Local taxi and shuttle services run 24-7 to keep you moving to where you need to be, especially for a fun day Downtown looking at all the fantastic eclectic and interesting shops, bars & restaurants. There is certainly lots to do and see on any day, in any conditions.
Talkeetna is the Native Athabascan word meaning “where three rivers meet”. We sit at the confluence of the Talkeetna, Chulitna and Little Susitna Rivers which make up the Big Susitna River which moves the third largest volume of water in North America.
Things to Do in Talkeetna:
Flight Seeing – Explore the top of North America with a flight seeing tour from one of our several flight seeing operators located 2 miles from our property.
Canopy Zip Line – Yes, even a small place like Talkeetna has some amazing zip-line activities through beautiful country. 3 Hour Tour.
Riverboat Adventures – Take a jet boat ride with all your friends up the river in these high-performance tour boats. Many different sightseeing and adventure options available.
Fishing – Always wanted to go out with a real Alaskan fishing guide? We have many different guides and vendors to choose from.
Arts – We have Art galleries, Wildlife art galleries, Denali Arts Council who can satiate your need to view, appreciate or collect locally produced art. There is also a live stage theater with many productions happening throughout the year.
Live music – Whether at the Denali Fairview Inn, Denali Arts Sheldon Hangar, or one of the local eateries, Talkeetna is a town bursting at the seams with world class and sometimes not-so-world-class music. If you like live music, Talkeetna has it.
ATV tours – Take a ride through the trails or out to the Petersville area with one of our local ATV guide services.
Much, much more! Plus if you are heading to Denali from here, we have lots of tips and suggestions to keep you busy and preoccupied during that part of your trip too!
We urge you to give Talkeetna Love-Lee Cabins a try this year and we look forward to hosting you soon on your trip.
