Zipline at Bootleg Canyon in Boulder City, Nevada
The famous Zipline in Bootleg Canyon, Boulder City NV from the Travel Channel. This a Hands free video with a crappy cam, but shows all 4 parts of the ride. It was awesome and worth every penny ($150. per person). The whole experience is about 2 - 3 hours. At 3800 feet the views are spectacular. I highly recommend this Las Vegas attraction to everyone. There are weight and hight restrictions and some walking and hiking (up hill) is required. Even the locals (like us) will enjoy it. Although, keep in ming July and August are VERY HOT here. Unless you are accustomed to the heat, you may want to wait for cooler weather ( and always wear sunscreen out here). Enjoy the video.

Our second time Ziplining over the Mojave Desert. All four runs cover over 8,000 feet as we traveled up to 60+ mph down the Red Mountains in Boulder City, NV. A little scary the first time but we keep coming back for more every time we travel to Vegas!!
Boulder City Nevada
Hi, my name is Jennifer, with Desert Adventures, out of Boulder City, Nevada. And, Boulder City is the town that built the Hoover Dam. Initially, when the, when the government announced the building of the Dam, workers came from all over the United States, in effort to find a job-that was during the Great Depression. Housing was not available for the workers. Before Boulder City was built, perspective workers would live in Tent City, shanty towns, one of which being, on the Colorado River, called Rag Town. Conditions were hot, unsanitary, there was some deaths due to heat-related illness. Boulder City needed to be built.
Six companies, the company that built the Dam, as well as the federal government, made it a priority to build the town for the workers to live in. What their focus was, to provide a clean living and working environment for the Dam workers. The town was designed to house approximately 5,000 workers. The status of the workers on the Hoover Dam reflected in their house sizes, and locations. The most important employees were housed on the top of the hill, near the heart of town. Managers were housed just a little bit further down the hill. And, homes for manual labourers were located further down the hill, away from the pubic buildings and parks. Boulder City was originally built as a temporary town for the Hoover Dam workers. As you can see, it's still a vibrant city today. I'm Jen, with Desert Adventures, your premiere adventure company, located in Boulder City, Nevada.

A Run Down Snakeback - Bootleg Canyon DH!
A couple buddies and I headed out to Boulder City, Nevada on the first weekend of 2019 to smash some downhill laps and try to keep our tires intact on some of the most rugged terrain there is. One of the infamous double black diamond runs in Bootleg Canyon, Snakeback starts out gnarly as hell and doesn't let up until you've descended 1,100 vertical feet into the basin below. A must ride for any downhiller heading out to Southern Nevada!

Ziplining Bootleg Canyon Nevada
There a few places to go zip lining right in Las Vegas, but try getting out of the city and into the Nevada desert for a really cool experience! Zip line in Bootleg Canyon over cacti and rolling desert hills - if it isn't windy!
Join Marti from 'Down the Wrabbit Hole' travel blog as she attempts a zipline adventure in the Nevada desert! It was a journey that was filled with promise cut short by nature's elements.

Great trip. Think I'll try a tubeless setup with way better tires next time. Specialized Butchers came highly recommended. Maybe Maxxis Minions? These trails were no joke but still hella fun... At least while they lasted. lol.
