This tour takes you around the little alleys and hidden corners of the city which you cannot find them by yourself. Most of the shops and bars are owned and run by the locals which means you are helping the local businesses instead of the global enterprise.
The trip is totally worth the price because it is packed with fun and laughter. The guides are truly friendly and helpful and they love to show you around Brussels. They love what they do instead of doing it just for a living. Highly recommended for anyone travelling to the area.

Arrival from U.S.A. Working Visit 2/19/2016

President Benigno S. Aquino III arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal II after his attendance in the Special US-ASEAN Summit and Working Visit to the United States of America.
Bearing good news particularly on the issue of territorial disputes in the West Philippine Sea, the President echoed the ASEAN-US Joint Statement calling for the peaceful resolution of maritime disputes.
“Maliwanag sa inilabas na Joint Statement ng kapulungan ang paninindigan ng ASEAN at ng US: dapat panatalihin ang seguridad, stabilidad, at kalayaang maglakbay sa West Philippine Sea at South China Sea; at dapat idaan sa mapayapang
proseso ang pagresolba ng anumang alitan, alinsunod sa international law,” he said.
According to the President, the two-day summit held in Sunnylands provided leaders with avenue to discuss international issues such as the strengthening of ASEAN-US trade and investment ties through digital innovation, issues on global pandemics and climate change, of which the Philippines shared its experience.
Traveling to Los Angeles for his Working Visit, the President unlocked several investment opportunities. These include Walt Disney Company’s business venture in the country’s creative industry, Western Digital expansion plans, and AECOM Enterprise Growth Solutions, which the President hopes will become a capacity-building partner in the country’s infrastructure development.
Following the footsteps of his father, the late Senator Ninoy Aquino Jr., the President also held a speaking engagement with the Los Angeles World Affairs Council where he laid down government reform programs and initiatives he has instituted under his term.
He was also conferred the Honorary Degree in Humane Letters by the Loyola Marymount University for his embodiment of the Jesuit mantra, “man for others.”
Before the President concluded his Working Visit, he met with the Filipino community in Los Angeles to report the country’s achievements. He also called on their support to continue treading the straight path of reform he had enforced under his leadership.

Chinese President Meets Visiting Belgian King on Bilateral Ties
Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday met with visiting King Philippe of Belgium in Beijing, discussing ways to boost ties and promote economic cooperation between the two countries.
The king is currently on a state visit to China, which will end on June 27.
Xi said that the bilateral ties between China and Belgium are at the best period of development in history as the two countries have established comprehensive and cooperative partnership in various fields including trade, investment, science and technology, education and culture.
China attaches great importance to its relationship with Belgium and considers it an important partnership in the European Union, Xi said, adding that China would like to maintain a sound momentum of high-level exchanges and political mutual trust with Belgium.
Xi said that China is implementing its innovation-driven development strategy, and that both sides could carry out extensive cooperation in sectors such as high-end manufacturing, bio-pharmacy and sustainable development, adding that the Chinese government supports Chinese enterprises to invest in Belgium and at the same time welcomes more Belgian enterprises to take China as their second home market.
Xi said China appreciates Belgium's willingness to take part in the infrastructure construction in Asia, welcomes it to join in the one belt, one road initiatives, and supports the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) to absorb it as a new member.
In response, the King said that as the EU headquarters is located in Brussels, Belgium would like to serve as a bridge for China to enter the European market and will continue to strengthen cooperation with China in various areas such as trade, innovation, education and biotechnology.
The King added that Belgium thanks China for its support in the European integration process and eurozone construction.
The year 2016 marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of China-Belgium diplomatic relations, and both sides agreed to make every effort to hold successful celebration activities so as to make their friendship deeply rooted in the hearts of both peoples.
The two countries also agreed to cooperate in railway construction and promote cultural and educational exchanges.
Xi and King Philippe also exchanged views over issues of common concern, including global climate change and situation in the African Great Lakes region.
Following the meeting, the two leaders witnessed the signing of several cooperation agreements between China and Belgium on astronautics, customs, technology, nuclear fuel and education.
