On todays Brussels food tour we try three traditional foods. We had an incredible morning having the best waffles in Brussels at Maison Dandoy. One of the oldest waffle factories in all of Brussels. Their food is fresh, made to order and absolutely to die for. Don't miss the opportunity to have some of the best waffles you'll have in your life here.
Next up we went to find some traditional Belgium frits. Chipys, fries.. Whichever you want to call them! They're fabulous. It's on the main square in Brussels and just around the corner from Maison Danoy. We ordered regular with mayo. It was absolutely divine!
We spend the afternoon exploring the heart of Chocolate museum in Brussels. It was fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about this museum. They're displays show the history of chocolate in the media, some incredible artworks and they have a chocolatier on site. So you'll definitely get some incredible fresh chocolate on site.

Long Weekend in Belgium; Brussels & Bruges (DJI Osmo Pocket)
Made a trip out from Geneva to meet some friends in Brussels for a long weekend. It was just the right amount of time for some exploring, eating, and catching-up. No clear winners for fries, waffles, and beer this time, will have to come back for another visit
0:42 we stayed in central Brussels, so it was easy for us to take a train from the airport (~10 EURs one-way each).
0:54 arrived early in the morning, so we grabbed some breakfast and coffee at Mokafe, and of course had some waffles. (
1:16 we were on a mission to try as many waffles as we could stomach. Waffle #2 was at Le Funambule (
1:26 always down for breakfast, Peck 47 came highly recommended (
1:40 also had a mission to find the best fries in Brussels. Georgette was our 1st stop (
2:03 Grand Place definitely sits among the top for our favorites European squares (
2:18 seeing the bakers through the window had us picking up some baked goods from Aux Merveilleux de Fred
2:29 Maison Dandoy was our 3rd waffle in Brussels (
2:39 Friterie Tabora is where we had our 2nd try at fries (
2:55 Atomium was worth the short Uber trip out (
3:16 Drinks at Delirium were a given (
3:25 we had enough time to make an easy trip out to Bruges
3:59 wrapped up our trip with a chocolate making class

The food that we had was from Nordzee and Maison Dandoy jic (just in case) you guys wanted to know.
I wouldn't advise y'all to spend there more than one day though unless you want to go to historical places and museums.

Our trip to Brussels, Belgium was a quick one.
We left Gare du Nord (in Paris) via Thalys train to Bruxelles-Midi.
Purchased the tickets through
Gladly, we were able to taste authentic Belgian food and beer!
For Belgian chocolates, we highly recommend Corné Port Royal, Belvas and Godiva! Chocolate truffles are the best!
For Belgian fries, we recommend Frit Flagey and FritKot. Love the Tartare and Americaine sauce!
For Belgian waffles and cookies, Maison Dandoy and Haagen Dazs(haha!)
For Belgian beer, well, it is everywhere! hahaha!

When you visit Belgium, you’re going to eat waffles. There’s no way around it. Living in Brussels, I love Belgian waffles. There are two type of Belgian waffles: Brussels waffles, which are square shaped and you add toppings or sugar on the top, and liege - oval shaped and the sugar is already on the inside.
