Brussels - Atomium, Océade water park, Mini-Europe

Inside the Atomium and high speed elevator built for the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels Belgium. The elevator inside the Atomium was the world's fastest when it was opened. The Atomium resembles an atom and has a series of ball modules you can transit. The Atomium also provides a great view over Brussels and Belgium. Other attractions include Oceade water park Brussels - Oceade water park just months before it was abandoned and demolished. Mini-Europe Brussels Belgium theme park has many of the landmarks in Europe on a miniature scale including its neighbor the Atomium of Brussels Belgium.

All three attractions are walk distance however Oceade Water Park closed forever and was demolished in late 2018.

Brussels City & Mini Europe! 2017 | Belgium

Hello guys ! I'm back after awhile. I'm sorry for the late video post for my last trip to Brussels, and here I am to post a short and simple video about my trip there.

Brussels is the capital city for Belgium. After having a short trip at Antwerp, I continue to discover Belgium till to its capital. I can say that this city is calm but lively at night, and by daytime it is not too busy to be said, and theres enough space for you to walk around.

On the first day, we planned to visit Mini-Europe. In there, you can see almost every side of Europe, with the beautiful and well-made replicate buildings, to its finest details. It is very fun, educational and bright things to start our day there. Then, we headed to Atomium, just a 5-10 minutes walk from Mini-Europe. At night we had a walk around the Plaza while enjoying ourself with the sweetness and amazing waffles ! And not to forget the fries too !

The next day, we just having a short walk around, waiting to take the bus back to France. It was a short and simple trip, but we had fun for being there and witness the people, ambiance and beauty of Belgium.

The Mini-Europe Park is located close to the Atomium. If you are staying in downtown Brussels, you can get there by taking the metro to Heysel and it's just a short walk from the metro station.

Mini-Europe is a park located in Bruparck at the foot of the Atomium in Brussels, Belgium. Mini-Europe has the reproductions of the most attractive monuments in the European Union on show, at a scale of 1:25. Roughly 80 cities and 350 buildings are represented. The park is renowned for the quality of its models, some of which cost as much as €350,000 to make (the Brussels Grand-Place). The park contains numerous live action models (train, mills, eruption of Mount Vesuvius, Airbus, cable cars, etc). A guide gives the details on all the monuments. At the end of the visit, the Spirit of Europe exhibition gives an interactive overview of the European Union in the form of multimedia games. The park is built on an area of 24,000 m². The initial investment was of €10 million in 1989, on its inauguration by Prince Philip of Belgium.
