ST LOUIS-GATEWAY ARCH-BUDWEISER TOUR-TRANSPORTATION MUSEUM-ECONOMY MUSEUM-BLUES MUSEUM-EP23
Left Casino Queen RV Park after 7 nights in St. Louis, MO. It was one hot strip of Asphalt! Thank God for our 45,000 BTU’s of A/C capacity.
This RV Park is a GREAT central location for all the things to see,…….we were within 10 minutes of most things to do, NEVER more than 20 minutes.
We saved our St. Louis Botanical Garden Tour, and our St. Louis 27 mile bike ride video along the Mississippi river for later.
Make sure you stop back for those! The bike ride is along the ST. Louis levee walls, and it is interesting.
This video is a collection of visits. We go to the St. Louis Arch, Transportation Museum,Budweiser Factory Tour, Economy Museum and finish up with the St. Louis Blues Museum.
If time is limited, I would prioritize them in the order I have listed them. The Gateway Arch is this most impressive and packed with information, and the Blues Museum was the least impressive and interesting.

HOWLIN' FRIDAY starring THE KINGDOM BROTHERS
Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri, Kingdom Brothers combines blues, R&B, and gospel influences into a powerful sound with a positive message. They credit their sound to the timeless influence of the blues greats - Albert King, Muddy Waters, Otis Rush - The Blues, to name a few, and the power and spirit of groups like the Blind Boys of Alabama and the Dixie Hummingbirds.
With the soulful vocal delivery of Chris Shepherd, a high energy rhythm section, Kingdom Brothers create a memorable effect you'll want to experience over and over again. Toss in that Ron Roskowske bottleneck slide, crank it to eleven, and you'll be looking for tickets to their next show.
**NOW FEATURING: Drummer Popcorn Louden has agreed to take over for Joe. Popcorn played drums for Buddy Miles for ten years, toured with Lucky Peterson, Michael Burks and too many others to list here. It's in his DNA as his uncle played guitar for Chicago legend Koko Taylor. **
National Blues Museum (NBM) Takes Students To The White House
In February 2012, NBM was invited to participate in an educational program celebrating Blues music hosted by First Lady Michelle Obama. Thanks to funding by American Communities Trust, the museum was able to take 10 St. Louis area high school juniors and seniors to Washington, DC to participate in At the Crossroads: A History of the Blues in America.
The event was produced as a complement to PBS' In Performance at the White House concert series and featured a panel of notable Blues experts including GRAMMY Museum executive director and NBM advisor Bob Santelli; GRAMMY Award-winning artist Keb Mo; singer Shemekia Copeland; and musician Troy Trombone Shorty Andrews. At the Crossroads gave students an overview of the origins of the Blues, discussed important artists, and covered the genre's evolution from African American spirituals and work songs to the chart-topping hits of today. The program was held inside the State Dining Room at the White House.
This video was produced by one of the student participants, Bea Dageforde from Ladue Horton Watkins H.S.

Places to see in ( Saint Louis - USA )
Places to see in ( Saint Louis - USA )
St. Louis is a major city in Missouri along the Mississippi River. Its iconic, 630-ft. Gateway Arch, built in the 1960s, honors the early 19th-century explorations of Lewis and Clark and America's westward expansion in general. Replica paddlewheelers ply the river, offering views of the arch. The Soulard district is home to barbecue restaurants and clubs playing blues music.
St. Louis, the largest metropolitan area in Missouri, is a major midwestern metropolis filled with culture. St. Louis planners have created an aesthetically beautiful city with green space at the street level. It is said that St. Louis is second only to Washington, D.C. in the number of free activities available in an American city. The Gateway Arch, the world's tallest man-made monument, forms a triumphant city skyline. An open mall surrounded by reflecting pools leads up to the historic court house, the site of the Dred Scott decision, facing the Gateway Arch.
The city is named after King Louis IX of France. St. Louis is known by the nickname of The Gateway to the West. The city was the last major stop before pioneers journeyed Westward to the Pacific coast. The city also played a large part during the steamboat era due to its position at the confluence of the Mississippi River and the Missouri River. St. Louis was acquired from France by the United States during President Thomas Jefferson's term in 1803 as part of the Louisiana Purchase. The transfer of power from Spain was made official in a ceremony called, Three Flags Day. On March 8, 1804, the Spanish flag was lowered and the French one raised. On March 10, the French flag was replaced by that of the USA. In 1904, St. Louis hosted that year's World's Fair and the Summer Olympic Games. Many of the parks, buildings, and finer homes in St. Louis were built around this time period. While there are few, if any, living residents who attended the Fair, it holds an important place in the modern development of the city.
Slide into St Louis and revel in the unique vibe of the largest city in the Great Plains. Beer, bowling and baseball are some of the top attractions, but history and culture, much of it linked to the Mississippi River, are a vital part of the fabric. And, of course, there's the iconic Gateway Arch that you have seen in a million pictures; it's even more impressive in reality. Many music legends, including Scott Joplin, Chuck Berry, Tina Turner and Miles Davis, got their start here and jammin' live-music venues keep the flame burning.
