Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

July 13th 2014 Maxwell Street Days Cedarburg, WI. Flea Market Record Dig!
July 13, 2014 Maxwell Street Days Flea Market. Hope you enjoy the video showing the flea market I like to dig records from. This event is held 4 times a year in Cedarburg Wisconsin. It's put together by the cities fire department and has been going on since the mid sixties. I find a lot of cool records here. But unfortunately on this day a good handful of my favorite vendors were not available. Don't know if they had other summer plans or what but I was a little thrown off my game plan with them missing. So it made the hunt for good records even more fun. I think you might like what I found and check out the photo at the end of all the records my daughters and I found together from that day! Hope you enjoy the video and please remember to subscribe to my page if you like what you see! Happy Spinning!
