The Rose Bowl Stadium Renovation - Preserving Pasadena's National Historial Landmark
Watch the Rose Bowl renovation unfold through the eyes of the Bernards and Barton Malow project team members. Hear how the teamwork involved in this joint venture was critical in maintaining the historical integrity and the successful preservation of this National Landmark, which is so deeply-rooted in the City of Pasadena's history. A special thank you to everyone involved in this beautiful renovation project; with special thanks to Barton Malow, the City of Pasadena, the RBOC, the Historic Resources Group and all of our other subcontractor partners who played an integral role in bringing this iconic stadium back-to-life in time for the 100th Rose Bowl Game played on January 1, 2014.

My band, THE Mighty Marching Hornets were selected to LEAD the Tournament of Roses Parade in Pasadena. We spent 5 days in different areas of Cali doing lots of work, but still having lots of fun. We toured, partied and performed our butts off!
I worked very hard to catch EVERY great moment we shared (even if it meant getting stares for carrying a selfie stick everywhere lmao). I definitely wanted to share this once in a lifetime experience with my lovely subscribers and future subscribers! You will get an up-close and personal view of the Tournament of Roses experience that is only found here!
-------
Pt. 3 of this series, Day at the Rose Bowl Stadium, you will see exclusive footage of us at the Rose Bowl Stadium, tours of the stadium and of the parade route. We just like to have fun as a band and showcase our personalities!
I hope this video helps those who are interested in knowing us. I also hope that it entertains and shows everyone a taste of the Rose Bowl stadium.

FAQ:
1. How old are you?
21 years old
2. Who does your hair?
I do it myself! In this video/series I am wearing a custom lace closure wig. My hair looks a mess in this particular video though lol!
I do offer services.
Book with me here:
3. Where are you from?
SHREVEPORT, LOUISIANA all day baby!
4. How long have you been dancing?
I joined my first official dance team in 8th grade. Prior to that, I was just dancing for fun in social groups and local areas. I then joined my high school dance team only for my 9th grade year. My next dance team was the Southern University Gold'N Bluez Basketball Dance Team during my sophomore year of college. I then found interest in the Alabama State University Stingettes and transferred to audition that next year. I did not begin to take actual dance classes until I enrolled here.
5. What camera do you use?
I mainly use my iPhone. I now have an iPhone Xs. I have two other cameras (Canon Eos Rebel T6 and Samsung NX Mini), but I like my phone better.
6. What editing software do you use?
iMovie
7. How long have you been natural?
I have been relaxer free since 2013. Since then, I have fully cut my hair 2 times. With proper care, my hair grows back very quickly and healthy.
8. When do you graduate college?
I'm praying for Spr '20! I could've been out of school Spr '18, but I've changed my major and transferred so many times. It's cool though. I know God has a reason for these extra two years!!! However, please go into college with a pretty solid plan so Sallie Mae won't own you for the rest of your life!
9. What schools have you attended and which was your favorite?
In order of attendance: Louisiana State University (Baton Rouge, La), Southern University (Baton Rouge, La), Alabama State University (Montgomery, Al).
For my favorite, LSU is definitely out of the picture. I absolutely NEED that HBCU culture. It's nothing like being around your own people and their excellence. However, I don't really have a favorite. Southern was definitely more fun for me considering it was at home. The music, dancing, food, people, etc. was what I've always been accustomed to living in Louisiana. Alabama State is what I needed though. I needed to step out of my comfort zone and challenge myself physically, mentally and in dance. But don't get me wrong, we turn up too!!

Best Marriage Proposal - Written on the Field of The Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena, California
Flying High in a helicopter over the Rose Bowl Stadium, Dave proposes to Jenn after being together for 10 years on April 13th. The entire event has such a great story, from almost not being able to fly over due to weather, to the time lapse setup of the writing on the field, and the reaction that Jenn has to the entire event. This was truly a once in a lifetime memory for two people beginning the next chapter in their lives. Thank you to the Rose Bowl and everyone who helped create this experience.

2019 ROSE BOWL GAME & PARADE VLOG || UW vs. OHIO STATE
Come experience the Rose Bowl Parade and Game with us!
It's been 18 years since Huskies have been in the Rose Bowl, and it's the first time they've played Ohio in this bowl game. It just perfectly landed on the year of my graduation, so we knew we had to take advantage of this amazing opportunity to go back to Pasadena for the Rose Bowl! My dad actually played on the football team, and you'll see in the video that Greg and I wore his jerseys. My dad and I even recreated a photo that we took when I was three years old (18 years ago)... It's fun and special time indeed!
We hope you enjoy watching this video!

Rose Bowl Stadium 2017 by GAF Films
Rose Bowl Stadium 2017 by GAF Films, filmed by Parrot Bebop 2 Drone.
The Rose Bowl is an outdoor athletic stadium in Pasadena, California, just outside Los Angeles. Built in 1922 among the San Gabriel Mountains in the Arroyo Seco of Los Angeles County, the stadium is recognized as a United States National Historic Landmark and a California Historic Civil Engineering landmark. At a modern capacity of an all-seated configuration at 88,500[1] the Rose Bowl is the 17th-largest stadium in the world, the 11th-largest stadium in the United States, and the 11th largest NCAA stadium.
One of the most famous stadiums in sporting history, the Rose Bowl is best known as an American football venue, specifically as the host of the annual Rose Bowl Game for which it is named. Since 1982, the stadium has also served as the home stadium of the UCLA Bruins football team. The stadium has also hosted five Super Bowl games, second most of any venue. The Rose Bowl is also a noted soccer venue, having hosted the 1994 FIFA World Cup Final, 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Final, and the 1984 Olympic Gold Medal Match, as well as numerous CONCACAF and United States Soccer Federation matches.
The Rose Bowl and adjacent Brookside Golf and Country Club are owned by the City of Pasadena and managed by the Rose Bowl Operating Company, a non-profit organization whose board is selected by council members of the City of Pasadena. UCLA and the Pasadena Tournament of Roses also have one member on the company board.
FIFA WORLD CUP 1994 USA - STADIUMS
The 1994 FIFA World Cup was the 15th FIFA World Cup, held in nine cities across the United States from 17 June to 17 July 1994. The United States was chosen as the host by FIFA on 4 July 1988. Despite the host nation's lack of a national top-level football league, the tournament was the most financially successful in the tournament's history; it broke the World Cup average attendance record with nearly 69,000 spectators per game, a mark that still stands today. The total attendance of nearly 3.6 million for the final tournament remains the highest in World Cup history, despite the expansion of the competition from 24 to 32 teams (and from 52 to 64 games) in the 1998 World Cup.
Brazil won the tournament after beating Italy 3–2 in a penalty shootout at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California near Los Angeles, after the game had ended 0–0 after extra time. It was the first World Cup final to be decided on penalties. The victory made Brazil the first nation to win four World Cup titles. Greece, Nigeria and Saudi Arabia made their first-ever appearances at the tournament.
The games were played in nine cities across the country. All stadiums had a capacity of at least 53,000, and their usual tenants were professional or college American football teams. The venue used most was the Rose Bowl in Pasadena near Los Angeles, with eight games, among them the final, the third-place game, a semi-final and one game in the round of 16. The least used was the Pontiac Silverdome near Detroit, the first indoor stadium used in a World Cup, with four Round 1 games. The Pontiac Silverdome was also the only venue of the 9 used that did not host any knockout round matches.
Because of the large area of the continental United States, the match locations were often far apart. Some teams in Groups A and B had to travel from Los Angeles or San Francisco all the way to Detroit and back again, covering 2,300 mi (3,680 km) and 3 time zones one way. The teams in Groups C and D only played in Foxborough (Boston), Chicago and Dallas – a trip from Boston to Dallas is 2,000 miles (3,200 km), but only covers one time zone; Chicago is in the same time zone as Dallas but is still 1,000 miles away from both Dallas and Boston. The teams in Groups E and F's travel was a bit easier – they played exclusively in East Rutherford, New Jersey (New York City), Washington and Orlando. A few teams such as Cameroon and Italy did not have to travel great distances to cities to play matches.
