Chez Obélix Buffet in Marseillan Plage France. Normally a pizzeria restaurant, in the summer it appears to turn into an all you can eat buffet, French style. Located on the busy strip in Marseillan Plage, it is a great place to have a dinner when staying at one of the campings. We were at Camping Les Mediterranees Floride Beach Club Nouvelle, just a 10 minute walk away - lovely on a warms summers evening! Super ambiance! Cosy Countryside Living at Snowdonia Holiday Cottage, Dolgellau: Penclogwynau
This is the very epitome of cosy countryside living. This peaceful cottage, located on the lower slopes of Cader Idris mountain, is a private hideaway where you can enjoy the solitude and tranquility of rural Wales.
With all the delights and original features of a period property, but also boasting luxuries such as underfloor heating, wood burning stove and a lovely deep slipper bath, experience the best of both worlds in this period cottage with modern amenities. Surrounded by many stunning footpaths, this cottage is just a mile and a half from the market town of Dolgellau, which boasts small shops, cafés and restaurants.
Just a short drive from many local attractions, such as Mawddach Trail walking and cycle route, Coed y Brenin’s esteemed mountain biking centre, and Bounce Below, which has the largest underground trampoline in Europe, as well as a zip wire ride in Blaenau Ffestiniog, this is the perfect place to return to after a busy day getting to know the joyous beauty of Snowdonia.
Size – sleeps four in two bedrooms.
Beds – two king beds. (One bed can be arranged as twin beds on request.)
Rooms – ground floor – open plan kitchen living and dining area, utility room, wet room with WC. First floor- King-size bedroom with ensuite, king-size bedroom, bathroom.
Kitchen and utilities – gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, fridge, microwave, washing machine, freezer. Tumble dryer is located in the garage next door.
Entertainment – Smart TV.
For families – travel cot, stairgate, and high chair can be provided on request. Please bring your own cot linen.
Outside – multi-level garden with stream. Seating area with eight seater picnic table, bistro table with chairs, and charcoal barbecue.
Parking – ample parking available.
General – central heating and electricity included. Bed linen and towels provided. Wi-Fi available. Two hairdryers provided. Bicycles may be stored in the garage. Free logs provided for the wood burning stove. Washing up liquid and dishwasher tablets are provided.
Pets – up to 2 dogs are welcome at an additional cost of £20 per dog. Please keep dogs on ground floor only. The cottage is surrounded by sheep pasture, and so care must be taken.
Notes – no smoking inside the cottage. This property has a £150 good housekeeping refundable bond, which is payable to Best of Wales along with the balance of your holiday. Alternatively, you can waiver this bond by paying a non-refundable fee of £5 per person insteadAs this is a period property, the stairs are steep and narrow, and are therefore unsuitable for guests with limited mobility.

Dogs and cats are welcome, making this the perfect destination for the whole family. There is a private back yard which is fully fenced and gated with a lovely garden and grassy area for your dog. The undercover BBQ area which also has night lighting, has an easy to use BBQ. Ladies you will have no problems firing up the barbie!
In this beautiful 1930's restored Queenslander, you will find polished hard wood floors, perfect so you can relax when your pet is indoors with you. Pets are most welcome inside. There are strong pet proof security doors back and front with window screens of the same caliber. No need to worry about your pets breaking out.
Inside this charming cottage you will find high ornate ceilings, generous sized main bedroom with a bay window, spacious second bedroom and a central bathroom with a spa plus a third bedroom which is a study-come-sleepout that contains a king single fold out bed. There is even a TV and DVD in the main bedroom so parents have their own retreat. The study and the front vestibule, which is a relaxed reading room, allows vacationers to have personal space when occupied by the whole family. Lounge room and dining room are separate and spacious. The compact kitchen and laundry has all you require and much more.
These days it is essential to have under cover parking. A generous double car port is provided. Directly opposite Adogma's Cottage is a fully fenced leash free dog park that even has night lighting. This is the perfect place to meet the locals and get a feel of village life.
You have heard of the saying location, location, location and you have found it here. Within a short distance of 1k and 10 minutes’ walk, you will come across a rainforest walk in a national park, a supermarket, video shop, boutique butcher, bargain shop, dog friendly cafe, doctor’s surgery, chemist and bottle shop. It takes only 10 minutes to reach Gallery Walk which is the main tourist shopping area that contains many specialty shops.
