WHAT a Landscape COULD express by itself. HERE the travel to MADRID ATOCHA the 4-2004 that I -Jorge Efrain BRAVO SALGADO born 1971 in Providencia SANTIAGO de CHILE- do ALONE following the mouvs of ONE OF THE VICTIMS -called Maria Soledad- who die in 11M TERRORIST ATTACK. TRAINS are sure, THE BETTER WAY TO JOIN LARGE SCALE FAR AWAY DISTANCES. BUT what is happening in this particular one have being an expressions on that past years of fighting Christians with Muslims. I arrive there in weeks after the terrorist attack drama event & I go to film that travel-road for understanding what have being living victim before die. Video is SO a SINGLE TRAVELLING without cut that is showed in slow motion here. I want to see what she have beeing seeing in that train before that arrive. Perhaps the quality could be consider Amateur IS NOT MY PURPOSE to seems PROFESSIONAL or be criticized as Amateur, WHAT I search is make feeling view of the victim, BE SEING the same type of WINDOWS.
RENFE have a good material running there, but it is a travel into a region with only farmer or some industry. A landscape of monoculture farmer or monoindustry chimistry is always difficult to keep attention on it. People use trains to go somewhere for work, return to somewhere for sleep. It is rythm of big capitals, they seems to do not take care on individuals lifes, they extend & extend without have a work on lanscape. What we see in landscapes depend also on the education we have had. I have totally auto produced this & done that with not contact on spanish RENFE. That was first for my self to understand where the drama have taked place. I have NO contact with the family who suffered the Maria Soledad lost too. MY family have invited me to go to Spain this month & this year, and SO I go with them & after separed with them GO ALONE see what was the area of the Drama. It is what I see after in Atocha Station Train lines citizens auto-produced ceremony that impressed me a lot. Because I read in the type of composed pictures words in the station ceremony WHEN I arrive, & feel alike they also do a sort of funerarium act ON more than the victims of attack. This visit of Madrid Atocha Station decide ME on quit Europa -I live in FRANCE when that arrives & go to SPAIN only for holidays- I think that was a point of disgusting about what happen there. At the end of December 2004 I took airplane from LONDON to SANTIAGO & start to organize myself to return to CHILE where I was born. THE point in the images in the funerarium act at ATOCHA MADRID station that seems to describe a Chile Flag at the floor falled by colours & candles, SO that have helped ME on direction to take a decision for Return to CHILE. Cause that sounds/seems/looks alike the death of CHILE they talk about!.. At the same time it is around Train Cervantez victims, BUT you can make a double reading on that. IT IS FOR REMIND THE VICTIMES & it is FOR SAY SOMETHING AROUND VICTIMS. People have organized that in the Station as singles initiatives, so there it is each person at each corner for that moment that is also responsible on what result give to see. AND for example one titles words seems to says/express double ideas..-Te Echamos de menos..- for says -We regret to do not see you anymore, or, for says -We push you out.?. a double meaning is dramatic if we ad to Flag composed that seems to be chilen flag. MADRID people seems to say WE PUSH CHILE out... or This says.. -Event have killed madrilenes BUT also CHILE nation at the same time. MADRID express, in this event of conmemoration, FOR THE VICTIMS -BUT- NOT ONLY FOR THE VICTIMS.. I only realize parallels on the flag after filming, reading pictures. I never process a Montage on that pictures. It is alike what I have filmed totally uncut but with a slow motion to see landscape. WHEN I arrived to Atocha Station same day I film inside, I do not Choose advertices I see, I discovered them at the same time I discovered Atocha Station. I do not compose or Intervene in titles words I see at the funerarium ceremony, I report them exactly as I discover that. Is in the symbolism on what I have filmed &after filming that, that I am impressed by WHAT THEY COLLECTIVLY seems to EXPRESS RACIALY THERE. Remind 3 years ago then old 9-11 terrorist attack on CIVILISATION SHOCK speachs? That could be applicated for what I am reading then & there. I feel the =sad for the victims, BUT also the sad for what is also expressed in the titles words NEAR the sad for victim. That is why I say it is a paradoxal feeling this video serie. IT IS ALIKE discover into drama another, &where purpose is to say TO NO MADRID people, that THEY PUSH THEM OUT, to OUST them from PLACE by the same mouv too! the then -Te ECHAMOS de menos- sounds WE OUST YOU, WE MOUV YOU, it is alike EUROPA expressing EPURATION calls after the drama.. SOUNDS ALIKE A MANIPULATION on the suffer of victims or an extension on what have happen but for POLITICS & religious purposes.
