Soto del Real, whose former name was Chozas de la Sierra, is a town and municipality in the northern area of the autonomous Community of Madrid which had 8,294 inhabitants in 2009. 43 kilometers away from Madrid, the capital city, it is located between the towns of Manzanares el Real and Miraflores de la Sierra, and close to the Santillana reservoir.

Escalona is a municipality located in the north part of the province of Toledo, which in turn is part of the autonomous community of Castile-La Mancha, Spain. According to the 2017 census , the municipality has a population of 3,240 inhabitants, most of whom are settled in several housing estates such as Ribera del Alberche, Miragredos or Castillo de Escalona. The town is settled alongside the right side of the river Alberche, in the comarca of Torrijos, which is a part of the historical region of New Castile. The Mudéjar-style Castillo-Palacio de Escalona is the most characteristic building of the town, built in the 15th century.

Hoces del Rio Duratón Natural Park is a natural park of 5,037 hectares 1,2 km West from Sepúlveda, Segovia. Its name refers to the Duratón River. Las Hoces refers to the series of 100m high gorges that were formed by the Duratón.Saint Fructus established himself here as a hermit in the 8th century; a monastery dedicated to him also exists within the park. The park encompasses the towns of Sepúlveda, Sebúlcor and Carrascal del Río.It is home to a population of griffon vultures, along with Egyptian vultures, common kestrels, and peregrine falcons.

Jerez de la Frontera, Spain - Andalusian Horse show, museum, beautiful grounds

Here we focus primarily on the training and exercise we saw while we visited the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art for their great horse show. Because filming was not allowed inside during the actual horse show, we show you scenes of the beautiful grounds, the museum and how these stunning animals are trained and cared for at the Fundacion Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Ecuestre.

The show, of course, is also very spectacular and one of a kind. While visiting the museum we enjoyed the video presentation, then walked about to see saddles being repaired / created. The grounds are beautifully laid out and include the Palacio Duque de Abrantes (Palace of Abrantes).

The music heard during the slide show is Easy Day by Kevin MacLeod, from the free You Tube Audio Library.

As is usual with us, Ed did all the camcorder filming and narrations heard, while I did all of the still photography, chose the music, edited it all, etc. and uploaded to You Tube.

If you are planning to travel in Mexico, specifically to Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, Cancun, or any other Riviera Maya destination, we hope this video helps make your trip more enjoyable. These are ways that we were scammed in these cities in Mexico, despite speaking Spanish and currently living in the country.

We think some of the behavior in Playa del Carmen and these other locations is unethical, wrong, and dishonest. We don't want other people to fall into tourist traps (ike we did) because they didn't know what to look for or how to stick up for themselves. Most of these scams happened on 5th Avenue (Quinta Avenida in Playa del Carmen) and also in Cozumel.
