`Leader Island` is an undeveloped private gem of approximately 10 ac, conveniently located close to the mainland in spectacular Jeddore Harbor, Nova Scotia, an easy 30 minute drive from Halifax (the capital) and 50 minutes from the International Airport. This island has its own unique cove and offers breathtaking ocean views and quaint rural panoramas. There is a parking easement (for 2 vehicles) only 1500 feet away on the mainland near a deeded docking easement. That will allow the owner of the island to build a dock (per government regulations and mainland owners approval) to park their boat or canoe for easy access. A seasonal (summer) dock is available to use. Although a docking easement is available, you can just canoe or kayak over to the island from the mainland. As a matter of fact, you could swim there ! Leader island has good topographic elevation height to qualify for a building permit (buyer to verify) for your future home or vacation cottage.

A drive from the Forest Hills Parkway intersection with Main Street and the Forest Hills Extension in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, to Head of Jeddore. The Forest Hills Extension immediately to the left is part of Nova Scotia Highway 107 and connects Burnside to Cole Harbour via the Forest Hills Parkway on the right. From the beginning of this video to Exit 17, Main Street, Trunk 7, and Highway 107 share the same route. The video ends on West Jeddore Road, covering 38.9km. This video is sped up approximately 2.5x.

A short drive on the first day of fall, 2015, from downtown Dartmouth to downtown Halifax via the Macdonald Bridge. Note the removal of the bikelane and pedway to accommodate the extra weight during the Big Lift project.

PEI Route 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) - Wood Islands to Charlottetown
Prince Edward Island Route 1 (Trans-Canada Highway) from the ferry in Wood Islands to Charlottetown. There is a 10km gap in the footage because I didn't realise my memory card ran out of space. Missing from the video is between the Route 207 junction and just before the junction with Route 212.

Liverpool Nova Scotia Canada 2017
This was the second Liverpool we have visited. The first being the home of The Beatles. Liverpool, Nova Scotia is also at the mouth of the Mersey River. During our visit, we explored the Fort Point Lighthouse Park. The lighthouse is situated in a tranquil setting that overlooks the Mersey River as it enters the Atlantic Ocean. The plaques in the park describe a very interesting history of the privateering that originated from this port. American ships were a favorite target. Music is “On My Way Home” by the 126ers.
