Lövstabruk is a village on a common in the parish of Österlövsta, Tierp Municipality, Uppsala County, Sweden. In 2010 it had a population of 96, compared to some 1300 at its height during the 18th century. The word lövsta is derived from lösta, an old Swedish word for glade. The contemporary spelling in the 18th century was Leufsta, with French orthography reflecting the Walloon origin of the workforce. The latter part of the name, bruk, means both mill town and ironworks.

Furuvik Zoo is an amusement park and zoo in Furuvik, Sweden.Furuviksparken was founded in 1900 by Oscar Jakobsson and officially opened by count Olle Cronstedt. In 1938 the zoo was bought by Gösta Nygren, who managed the zoo for 45 years. Nygren established a youth circus, Furiksbarnen , which became the main attraction not only in the park but also on travelling tours. Nyhren also introduced live concerts with famous artists, like Louis Armstrong, Jussi Björling and Sammy Davis. Gävle Municipality took over the park 1983, again sold to Tom Widorson in 2004, and in 2010 sold to the present owner, Parks & Resorts Scandinavia.

Prima parte del terzo episodio di questa avventura che mi porta a percorrere la Upplandsleden, un percorso immerso nella foresta svedese, tra laghi, alci, uccelli e rifugi in cui soggiornare la notte.
Questo terzo giorno mi porta a camminare per trenta chilometri, con numerosi incontri con animali. Ad un certo punto mi viene in mente il fatto che in questi tre giorni non ho incontrato anima viva, i negozi dei paesini sono chiusi e rimango senz'acqua.
