A long day awaits! I have packed my gear and I am ready to hit the city on this hot summers day. Join my friend James and I as we visit various spots in Sydney including the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House as well as Circular Quay and some local gems and viewing points throughout. During this walk we ake some great street, landscape and architectural photographs.

So your best bet for city shots would be:
-Mrs Macquaries Chair (great spot for both the opera house and harbour bridge)
- Sydney Botanical Gardens
-China Town (for street)
-Milsons Point toward Luna Park (great for a city view)
-Lavender Bay (Train trip to Milsons Point, Walk toward Luna Park and bypass around the park toward the back entrance to a small bay area, great spot for a sit down and a view of Luna Park and the city beyond)
-Blues Point Reserve (another brilliant spot for a city view and a fantastic spot)
If you have the time, Hire a car or catch the train down south toward Helensburgh and surrounds. There are some old rail tunnels that are worth exploring and Stanwell Tops has a great lookout. (See my Sea Cliff Bridge Video) The Royal National Park is a great one too.

Great Barrier Reef Australia Travel Video
Along the tropical coast of Australia for more than 2900 km stretches greatest creation of nature - the Great Barrier Reef. The world's largest coral system in combination represents the largest living structure on the planet. It includes almost 3,000 different reefs and 900 islands dot the lagoon Razlog. The area covered by sea giant stone is 344,400 square kilometers. A natural wonder located in the Coral Sea, almost parallel to the coast of Queensland, Australia.
The Great Barrier Reef stretches from north to south, taking its origin from the Tropic of Capricorn, located between the cities of Gladstone and Bundaberg, and ending in the Torres Strait that separates Australia from New Guinea. In the northern part, near Cape Melville, coral complex is just 32-50 km from the coast and on the south side it breaks up into small groups of reef formations, in some places, moving away from the coastline of 300 km. This last mentioned places attract a huge number of fans of diving.
Dimensions of the Great Barrier Reef is so huge that it can be seen from space. This fact is very impressive when you consider the size of the creatures who built the largest object ever created by living organisms. The system formed billions of small animals, the size of which is typically less than a grain of rice - coral polyps. They look like a tiny inverted jellyfish, sitting in a stone bowl. They live together in colonies. Build your own reefs polyps can not, for this wise Mother Nature sent them assistants. Such, in this case, are the millions of microscopic algae, imprisoned in the tentacles of animals. They convert sunlight into food energy for the corals. This symbiotic relationship allows them to turn the minerals calcium carbonate to build their stony skeletons. So each colony develops and grows, enriching the whole area of limestone massifs. But their world is defenseless and fragile that even a slight rise in temperature - by one degree - can cause the death of coral polyps.
The origin of the reef occurred about 25 million years ago due to the movement of the Australian lithospheric plate. Coast region today called Queensland was flooded tropical waters, causing coral larvae brought warm ocean currents were in these places and fixed on the ground. Over time, the colony began to grow and cover the seabed, on the expiration of giving birth to thousands of the Great Barrier Reef, how it can be seen today. So with sea-level rise at the same time there was an intensive growth of new formations. History of the layers of the reef under the visible surface of the observer, which is constantly updated, has about 10 thousand years. The youngest sites, located on the peaks of the older, were formed over the last 200 years and located at a depth of 15-20 meters.
