Pennsylvania, a northeastern U.S. state and one of the 13 original colonies, has a diverse terrain, which includes wide stretches of farmland, national forests and mountains. Philadelphia, the Keystone State’s largest city, displays its rich history in Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, an enduring symbol of American freedom.
Pennsylvania is downright beautiful. It is home to some of the country’s richest history, incredible culture and, yes, a picturesque scenery.
The Appalachian Mountains sit here, and the state has more than 120 state parks, with over 100 miles of coastline, and a varied selection of great towns and cities,
each with its own character.
Mountain climbers will love this state, so will surfers, skydivers and skiers even, depending on where you are in the state.
Little wonder the Keystone State is widely considered one of the best states to retire.
The natural allure aside, this is a notion mostly driven by other key factors for anyone interested in the hard data:
economic vibrancy (this is the sixth largest state economy), good health care, school districts that are a cut above the other states, affordability, low rate of homelessness and a high quality of life.
Here then, are the 10 best places to live in Pennsylvania to help inform your decision better.
1. Pittsburgh.
2. Philadelphia.
3. Penn Wynne.
4. State College.
5. Mount Lebanon.
6. Radnor Township.
7. Bethel Park.
8. West Chester.
9. Emmaus.

The Outdoors Scene In and Around Greenville, SC
Greenville, SC, noted as one of the top 10 downtowns in America, is conveniently well-positioned amongst stunning natural attractions. Within less than an hour’s drive, there’s brilliant hiking to be had in Jones Gap State Park, where you can do a 4-mile hike to Rainbow Falls. There’s also an awe-inspiring view from the Fred W. Symmes Chapel at YMCA Camp Greenville (known to locals as “Pretty Place”), perched atop a high and steep cliff.
At Lake Jocassee you can rent paddle boards and kayaks to explore waterfalls and white sand beaches. If you’re savvy enough, you might find the secret tiered waterfall (you’ll need a boat to get there). Before heading back to the urban life, make sure to take in the panoramas from Caesars Head, a large granite outcropping in Caesars Head State Park, where you can also do a number of other gorgeous hikes.

Top 10 Cheapest States To Live In The United States In 2019
Which states are currently the most affordable ?
Housing is by far the largest slice of the average American budget, representing one-third of typical household spending.
Because of this, the best way to cut your costs is to reduce how much you spend to keep a roof over your head.
One obvious way to cut costs on housing is to choose a cheaper home or apartment.
This may be a perfect time to relocate considering home prices and interest rates are back on the rise.
Low costs attract domestic migrants and can give companies an edge when it comes to attracting workers.
Here are the 10 cheapest states to live in the United States in 2019.
1. Mississippi.
2. Arkansas.
3. West Virginia.
4. Tennessee.
5. South Dakota.
6. Alabama.
7. Kentucky.
8. Ohio.
9. South Carolina.
10. Indiana.
