Arunachal Pradesh (अरुणाचल प्रदेश) is one of the twenty-nine states of the Republic of India. Located in northeast India, it holds the most north-eastern position among the states in the north-east region of India. Arunachal Pradesh borders the states of Assam and Nagaland to the south, and shares international borders with Bhutan in the west, Burma in the east and China in the north. Itanagar is the capital of the state. Arunachal Pradesh holds territorial dispute with both the PRC and ROC due to its cultural, ethnic and geographic proximity to Tibet as opposed to India.

See the mesmerising night view of Golden Pagoda in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh. Arunachali priests perform prayers at the Pagoda.
The Golden Pagoda is built on plateau overlooking the plains at the foothill of the last fringes of Eastern Himalayas of patkai Range in Arunachal Pradesh. It is built in Burmese architectural design and style. The Golden Pagoda complex is spread over 20 Hectares of land and the main shrine stands on a plinth area of 4272.58 sq ft. The height of Pagoda is 17.60 m. The Pagoda CONSISTS OF 12 sub domes and the main and the largest dome is placed over middle portion of the main shrine.

Exploring Tawang | Arunachal Pradesh
Over a period of four days we explored Tawang and its nearby places. The breathtaking beauty left us speechless.
Some of the places we visted are -
The Thubsung Dhargyeling Monastery at Dirang, Nuranang Fall at Jang, The Heavenly Sela Pass, Jaswant Garh War Memorial, The world's second largest Monsatery- Tawang Monastery, The Giant Buddha statue. On the way to Bum La pass we saw the frozen Pangateng Tso(PTso) Lake, Urgelling Monastery (Birthplace of 6th Dalai Lama) and the Tawang War Memorial.

Yingkiong city in Upper Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Yingkiong is the administrative headquarters of Upper Siang District situated on the bank of Simang river, a tributary to Siang river. One can see the school playground of the town. See the PWD office building, administrative block and government circuit house. Yingkiong city is surrounded by lush green Himalaya.
