Motorcycle Ride The Cabot Trail Nova Scotia 2017 Part I
First off, it’s awesome that you are considering the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia for your motorcycle miles. There are endless places to see on our bikes, and it is pretty damn cool that you’re coming here. Nova Scotia has some features that make it a great place to ride a bike. written:
Our trip began by taking the Cat Ferry from Portland Maine over to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia .
All of our sleeping accommodations were made using our
AAA membership and the Best Western Hotels in Yarmouth and Halifax provided nice clean rooms and reasonable rates.
If your planning on staying in Port Hawkesbury The Maritime Inn on Reeves Street is very nice and offers comfortable rooms and a nice restaurant.
Before getting on the Cabot Trail to ride I would suggest stopping by The Farmers Daughter Country Market and grab breakfast, lunch or coffee and fresh baked pastries. You won't be sorry.

Cabot Trail Drive | Cape Breton, Nova Scotia
I spent the day driving along of the world famous Cabot Trail in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia.
The Cabot Trail is one of the most beautiful scenic drives in the world and one of Canada's top attractions for visitors to the East Coast.
The trail stretches more than 300 KM in length And while it can be done in a single day I would definitely recommend spending the night somewhere on the trail so that you can truly experience all of what it has to offer.
Not only is it a beautiful driving route but there are also plenty of opportunities for hiking and getting closer to nature including the amazing Skyline Trail.
During my time in the maritimes this was some of the best scenery of the entire trip and I would argue that Cape Breton is one of the most beautiful places in Canada.
Having done similar driving routes in Europe like the Transfagarasan in Romania and the Grimsel Pass in Switzerland,I would put the Cabot Trail up there as one of the best scenic drives that you could do in the world.
This is a must see if you're planning a visit to Canada!

Black Market Boutique - Nova Scotia
The selection of jewelry, clothes, décor and trinkets are never ending here at the chic Black Market. The store gives off a sort of cool gypsy vibe, with goods that you would imagine one brings home after a trip across the world. Its unique style strays very far from corporate ideologies. The boutique will appeal to all your senses with the floating scent of patchouli and the vibrant fabric colors.

Sydney, Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, Canada
Sydney is a Canadian community in Nova Scotia. Situated on Cape Breton Island's east coast. Sydney was founded in 1785 and named in honour of Thomas Townsend, 1st Viscount Sydney, Britain's Home Secretary at the time, a few years later, Sydney, Australia would also be named after him.
Sydney has recently witnessed a tourism revival with cruise ship facilities and a waterfront revitalization plan which has seen a boardwalk and marinas constructed, and the world's largest fiddle.
Sydney's tourism draw is increasingly linked to its cultural asset as being the urban heart of Cape Breton Island. Its population is a diverse mixture of nationalities which contributes to various Scottish, Acadian, African Canadian and eastern European cultural events being held throughout the year.
