You can feast your eyes on the majestic Pacific Ocean, or go water skiing at Lake Tahoe. But, as is the case everywhere, certain places in the Golden State are regarded as better than others, and it’s not always easy to decide where you might live, once you decide to relocate.

Are you moving to New Zealand ?
New Zealand is one of the world’s best places to live and retire, best place to raise your family. Known for the stunning landscapes featured in Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings.
New Zealand is comprised of two big islands called North Island and South Island, plus numerous smaller islands.
It is located in the southwestern Pacific Ocean and is very geographically isolated.

One Day in Charleston, SC | 10K Road Trip Vlog Day 28
A very short video of our first day in Charleston, South Carolina. Charleston is so pretty and such a great town to wander around. I wish we could show you both days we were there, but MY BAD.
This is Day 28 of our 10,000 mile road trip across the US.
We recommend wandering around the old town historic district and down to Waterfront Park with the pineapple fountain. The houses are so pretty, and so many of them have beautifully landscaped yards that are visible from the street. It's got a lot of Southern Charm and the people there were lovely.
---
What's going on here?
We quit our jobs, left New York City, bought a car, and decided to spend the summer driving around the US. The plan is to hit at least 35 states and cover more than 10,000 miles. Watch from the beginning here:

Vancouver STREET END-TO-END WALK: DAVIE STREET From Yaletown Dock to English Bay to Catch the Sunset
A long but pleasant end-to-end walk along Davie Street from False Creek at the Yaletown Dock, heading west to Beach Avenue and English Bay to watch the performers and enjoy the sunset.
From
Davie Village
Overview
Rainbow flags and sunburst banners adorn the lampposts in this lively neighbourhood in the heart of downtown's dense West End. Known internationally for its thriving community of gay and lesbian residents, Davie Village is offers a chilled-out vibe for people watching during the day, and thumping clubs, pubs and street life at night. “Davie Village” refers to the stretch of Davie Street between Burrard and Jervis Streets, but make sure you poke your head around the corner onto some of the side streets which are also home to some gems.
Seeing and Doing
It’s not just the characters that are colourful around here. The intersection of Davie and Bute is home to the much-photographed Rainbow Crosswalk, which made its debut during Vancouver’s Pride celebrations but has remained a year-round attraction. But Davie Village is less about “seeing the sights” and more about “living the lifestyle.” So grab a coffee and stroll – start at the busy, Burrard Street end, and head down the hill, towards the water. On your way, you’ll pass LGBT-friendly bookstores, boutiques and plenty of places to refuel.
In the evening, Davie Village comes to life as the real epicentre of Vancouver’s gay nightlife scene. What you might not expect is just how diverse that nightlife can be. Along with dance clubs hosting some of the world’s hottest DJs, you’ll also have no trouble finding LGBT-friendly sports bars, bingo games hosted by drag queens, and casual pubs with excellent craft beer selections.
Eating and Drinking
On a sunny day, there’s nothing like a Davie Village patio for brunch or a beer. Most of the restaurants in this area are real neighbourhood spots, so expect to find yourself sitting among the locals, perhaps including one or two of the community’s renowned drag queens.
You won’t find a lot of high-end restaurants in this area, but you will find a lot of range in the multicultural menus on offer, from Greek to Malaysian, Persian to classic American. It’s not unusual to see line-ups for the most popular spots, but fear not, the queue will move quickly!

Dry Camping at Lake Superior Beach! - Free Full Time RVing in Canada
Today we're living in our MotorHome dry camping in the city of Thunder Bay Canada with two nights of sleeping at Walmart, before a beautiful drive through Ontario. We found an awesome FREE boondocking camping spot that we shared with another rver where we got to sleep at the beach on Lake Superior, it had garbage facilities and toilets and tons of parking, such a great find. Definitely some fun days RV living in a 23ft class c coming at you! EVERY Wednesday and Saturday so SUBSCRIBE and stay tuned. :)
Welcome back friends. We ended up spending 2 nights in the city of Thunder Bay, which is on the west side of Lake Superior great lake. It was a quiet Walmart to sleep at and we actually enjoyed Thunder Bay more than we expected. It felt like a spacious city to get around for a decent population which we liked. We used the Anytime Fitness in Thunder Bay for all 3 days while in town since we knew where it was and that the parking was workable. Free showers while RVing is a nice treat to get a normal shower in and a workout isn't a bad idea either to keep ourselves active on the road. Thunder Bay has a laundry franchise called Barb's Laundry that we went to and use for our first laundry trip full time rving. It went smooth and we just took turns guarding our laundry at the laundromat while each other had lunch inside the RV haha. Thunder Bay also had a Value Village right near Walmart Alysha wanted to go try a thrift haul as well. We both got a few pieces of clothing we liked for along the journeys and the price and quality was right so that was an added bonus of RV city living for a bit I guess. The brown sweater at the end is the new one I got, for $10! and it seems new.
After a pleasant stay in Thunder Bay, it was time to get back on the road. We headed east with no real plan in mind but ended up finding a great spot down the road on the iOverlander app. It had great reviews so we decided to make that our goal for travelling Ontario for the day. On the way to our beach boondocking site we saw signs for Terrace Bay Waterfall so pulled over and enjoyed that too. It had a very high quality wooden pathway constructed through the forest a short walk to the waterfalls and was a great stop. The town of Terrace Bay looked like a cute little town as we drove through it winding down the road to a big open beach parking lot that was going to be the RVs home for the night. The parking spot had outhouses as well as a boat launch and high quality docks. There was also a massive sandy beach for Lake Superior so it was a great free spot to camp for the night. I had tried fishing earlier with no luck but after barbecuing up some burgers and corn on the cob, I got back at it from the docks. No luck off the bat so I was going to try switching docks, when the most unfortunate thing happened! I decided to drag my lure along beside me at the dock as I was walking in in case a fish was hiding under the dock. Sure enough, there was and a big pike jumped out. I went to go set the hook as he chomped on my lure and my line got cut! His teeth snipped the line! So lately when fishing in a lake I think might have pike in it I have been using my bigger rod with a heavier braided fishing line that is harder for them to cut. RIP Golden Bill, the Rapala Countdown lure.
These were a fun few days RV living. Thunder Bay made a nice little home to live in and do some RV first chores, like laundry, while also getting to the gym while on the road and being able to use the showers. That dry camping / boondocking spot was great too barely any mosquitos until the late evening, which is far better than the Ontario mosquito nightmare to come in the next video (It was horrible...). RV Vlogging has been fun for us since it's less flashy in public places but more about bringing you all out there along with us to cool and unique spots in nature and to different scenic and ideally free campsites. Thanks for being here as always everyone and we'll see you next time, as we go through out most frustrating night yet that we still have nightmares about haha.
Be sure to Like the video if you enjoyed it, Subscribe if you're new and we'll see you Saturday friends!
