In this vlog we are stopping at Wong's Family Restaurant in Baddeck, Nova Scotia, Canada.
After spending the morning at Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site, we thought a good meal would be a good thing before going to set up camp at the Highlands National Park in Cape Breton.

Nova Scotia Road Trip Guide
A Nova Scotia road trip is the perfect introduction into the Maritime region of Canada. Nova Scotia, which means “New Scotland” has a significant Scottish influence while also being known as Canada’s ocean playground.
I road tripped around many areas of Nova Scotia and have put together what I think is the perfect 7-day Nova Scotia Road Trip. For a detailed outline of this road trip, visit:

5 Top-Rated Tourist Attractions in Nova Scotia
Pretty and peaceful, Nova Scotia is Canada's second smallest province, a peninsula on the eastern edge of the Canadian mainland. But its lengthy coastline is dotted with fishing harbors, sandy beaches, and plump islands. The scenery varies greatly, from the foggy Atlantic Ocean in the southeast to the tidal salt marshes of the Bay of Fundy in the west and Gaelic highlands of Cape Breton to the north. In these maritime latitudes, Nova Scotia has a pleasantly breezy if rather damp climate. Summer is bright and sunny, but weather conditions can often cause fog, with snow in winter.
Halifax is the capital and largest city. In 1604 the French, including Samuel de Champlain, settled the Annapolis Valley, founding Port-Royal, the first lasting European settlement north of Florida. They called it Acadia, a name that is now used to refer to all French settlement in the Maritimes. Here, five tourist attractions in Nova Scotia, Canada.
1. Cabot Trail
2. Peggy's Cove
3. Fortress of Louisbourg National Historic Site
4. Halifax Citadel National Historic Site
5. Cape Breton Highlands National Park

RV Road Trip Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia on Cabot Trail | Solo Women RV Travel Blog
I spent several weeks traveling through New Brunswick, Canada then to Nova Scotia, Canada and then taking an RV road trip clockwise around Cape Breton Island on the infamous Cabot Trail. I had the best time on this rv road trip seeing all the cliffs and ocean and Cabot Trail hugging the coast line. It couldn't have been any more perfect. Cape Breton isn't the fastest Island to get to in Canada from the United States, but it's well worth the trip! I can't wait to go back. Thank you Canada for the 2017 annual Canada 150 Year anniversary pass as well!
