Some Catholic Sites and Spots in Rome
No where else than in Rome you can find so many reminders of the history of the Catholic Church and so many beautiful churches and monuments. And much of Rome is easy to walk. Many of these locations are within 10-20 blocks of one another, so if you pace yourself (perhaps stop for a cup of cappuccino along the way) you can easily visit many of these places on foot. Of course if you are with an organized tour they will probably provide your own private transportation. Check in advance to find out--especially if you have mobility problems--but don't let that keep you away.
A word of warning if you plan to contract with a local tour guide in Rome. Some guides are excellent and some are very poor. In addition, some can be quite anti-Catholic. Comments such as these items were stolen from.....and brought to Rome or the use of the word legend rather than tradition will give the traveler a biased and in-accurate experience. Be sure to check out any company and/or tour guide in advance as much as possible.
And, be aware, that Italy has strict licensing laws concerning guides. A guide might be licensed for Assisi, but not Rome, or vice-versa. If you use an unlicensed guide and he gets stopped by the authorities, your tour might come to an abrupt halt!
In this video we take a sneak preview for instance to Santa Maria di Loretoption, Santi Cosma e Damiano, Virgin Maria's Statue, Chiesa di San Giacomo in Augusta and Chiesa di Gesù e Maria.

LAGUNA CHURCHES - Visita Iglesia 2017
Went to Laguna on April 1, 2017 to visit some of the beautiful and century old churches of Laguna province. First stop is the San Juan Bautista Church in the town of Liliw. The Church is well maintained, thanks to parish and people of Liliw for preserving this cultural treasure . Second stop is the church of San Bartolome Apostol in the sleepy but beautiful town of Nagcarlan. Some restoration is being done in the facade of the church. The interior of the church is one of the most beautiful I've seen. The church is also well maintained and preserved. Kudos to the parish/parishioners of Nagcarlan. Third stop is the church of San Gregorio Magno in the town of Majayjay. Upon entering the town of Majayjay you will be awed by the churches structure even by looking from afar due to its towering belfry. This church is also well preserved and maintained. I also noticed the beautiful retablos of these churches.
