Sapri is a town and comune in the province of Salerno in the Campania region of south-western Italy. It is one of the southernmost towns of the region of Cilento and its population is 6,783.
The town is a port on Tyrrhenian Sea, located in the southern part of Campania, close to the border with Basilicata. The town is far 10 km from Maratea, 8 km from Policastro Bussentino and almost 100 km from Salerno.

Maratea's yacht harbor is 10 minutes by road from the Centro Storico. Although a small number of fishing boats still operate from the port, most vessels are cabin cruisers and other pleasure boats owned by summer residents and visitors.
The port has an assortment of shops, several cafés with indoor and outdoor tables, and at least one good restaurant. In good weather, boats offer coastal and cave excursions.

Port jachtowy Maratea znajduje się 10 minut drogi od Centrum Maratea. Z portu nadal wypływa niewielka liczba łodzi rybackich, większość statków to łodzie kabinowe i inne łodzie rekreacyjne będące własnością letnich mieszkańców i gości.
Port posiada kilka sklepów, kawiarni z wewnętrznymi i zewnętrznymi stołami oraz restauracje. Przy dobrej pogodzie łodzie oferują przybrzeżne i jaskiniowe wycieczki.
