Zella-Mehlis is a town in the Schmalkalden-Meiningen district, in Thuringia, Germany. It is situated in the Thuringian Forest, 5 km north of Suhl, and 20 km east of Meiningen. The town of Zella-Mehlis is the site of the original Walther Arms and J.G. Anschütz weapons factories. They remained there until the Soviets occupied eastern Germany at the end of World War II.

2. Edersee Waldeck
The Edersee Dam is a hydroelectric dam spanning the Eder river in northern Hesse, Germany. Constructed between 1908 and 1914, it lies near the small town of Waldeck at the northern edge of the Kellerwald. Breached by Allied bombs during World War II, it was rebuilt during the war, and today generates hydroelectric power and regulates water levels for shipping on the Weser river. At low water in late summers of dry years the remnants of three villages and a bridge across the original river bed submerged when the lake was filled in 1914 can be seen. Descendants of those buried there go to visit the graves of their ancestors.

I visited this imported guppies breeding farm to see the set up of the ornamental fish breeding business, they had many varieties of guppies imported from Thailand n other South East Asian countries.
Imported Guppies with amazing color combinations, tail patterns n other features were present.
The water was very clear, n aeration provided for all tanks, there 1000s of fries , so they were thriving in optimum growth conditions!

Vita Cola is a cola beverage produced in Germany. It started out in the German Democratic Republic. Introduced in 1957, it was advertised as Brauselimonade mit Frucht- und Kräutergeschmack (carbonated soft drink with fruit and herb flavoring), using a formula that is still kept secret (similar to Coca-Cola's Merchandise 7X formula). At its peak, Vita Cola was bottled in over 200 factories.

After the fall of the Berlin Wall and Iron Curtain in 1989, Vita Cola's business quickly collapsed as Western cola brands took its place. However, with the advent of Ostalgie (nostalgia among East Germans for the old days), many former GDR products were brought back, Vita Cola being one of the most popular. The company Thüringer Waldquell from Schmalkalden, Thuringia, secured the rights to the name and formula and began producing Vita Cola in 1994. For some time, Vita Cola sponsored FC Hansa Rostock, a soccer club from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. Vita Cola has since then surpassed Pepsi Cola and is still regaining market share in the former East Germany.[1]
In Thuringia Vita Cola has the biggest market share of Cola's, even before Coca-Cola. [2] That means that Thuringia is one of the few regions in the world where a regional cola brand is the market leader.

Vita Cola's flavor is described as cola-like with a strong note of lemon and fruit flavoring. It is also noticeably less sweet than Afri-Cola, Coca-Cola or Pepsi, and has a slightly oily consistency due to its use of citrus and other aromatic oils in the formula.
