Kiley is currently 37 years old and living in Bend Oregon with his wife of 14 years, Lynette and his two destined to be amazing girls; Kirra Dawn -- 3 yrs and Kimber Lucia -- 1 yr. Kiley moved from California in 2000 to be closer to his family, with his wife to Bend. This move also allowed Kiley to learn and find all those perfect lines down Mt. Bachelors backside personally. Since their move Kiley has tackled the construction industry with force, assisted his wife in growing her business as a property manager, experienced the joy of fatherhood and now enjoys each day doing what he loves.... shaping surfboards and paddleboards. With each project he starts, his artistic talent blossoms and his true calling to be a great shaper knocks and knock on his door....

Paddling Hosmer Lake, Central Oregon
Scenes from a quiet October day paddling Hosmer Lake, a lava-impounded water body along Oregon's Cascade Lakes National Scenic Byway. Only 40 minutes from Bend and less than three hours from Eugene-Springfield, the pristine lake is a popular summer recreation site for canoeists, kayakers, stand-up paddle boarders, anglers (fly fishing only) and wildlife watchers. You won't (currently) find this spot labeled on a map. Look for it on the left as you drive a short distance South, along Cascade Lakes Hwy 46 from Cultus Lake. This Spring feeds into the North End of Crane Prairie Reservoir. The water running out of the ground is estimated to have been snow 2 to 3 years prior.

Camping in Sparks Lake, Oregon
Camped out for 3 days and 2 nights at Sparks Lake, Oregon on August 25-27th, 2016. We went to several places during our camping stay such as Tumalo Falls, Dee Wright Observatory, and Proxy Falls. We stopped by a couple places to grab food in Bend, Oregon and to meet up with a friend, Shawn. A couple of my favorite moments was waking up early for the sunrise at Sparks Lake and staying up all night to stargaze above the lake.
During the adventure to Tumalo Falls, one of my buddies, Jhamil accidentally dropped his Nikon camera in the water while setting it up on the tripod. A moment so unexpected and so horrifying to a photographer, it really does take away a photographer and who they are when their camera is long gone. Through out the trip, Jhamil made the very best of it, but trust me, that's tough to do. If you want to help him out with reaching his goal to getting a new camera, here's the link:
He's an amazing photographer and a great soul, I want nothing but him to continue his passion. Anything can help! He just hit a little past his goal. It's so wonderful seeing the community care so effortlessly with kind words and loving support to an amazing artist that deserves it all.
We came back home by driving along the Central Oregon Highway 101. I had an amazing time road tripping and camping with Bayley Stevenson, Jhamil Bader-Jarvis, Jordan Lacsina, and Shawn Ford.

Green Lakes Hike - Deschutes National Forest, Bend Oregon - CH Action Adventures
I've been hiking throughout the Great Northwest for years. The Green Lakes Trail is very special, and probably my favorite. This particular hike has everything a person who loves the outdoors could want. Mountains, cascading waterfalls, flowing streams, pristine lakes, abundant wildlife, wildflowers, and an incredible forest. About two thirds into this video I was fortunate to capture photos of a hummingbird, which unexpectantly came into camera view while I was snapping pictures of paintbrush, pretty incredible. Mid July is a great time to do this hike as the wildflowers are peaking, and water levels from snow runoff are still decent, which this video illustrates very well. This beautiful hike is about 11 miles round trip with a cumulative elevation gain of 1,187'. Insect repellent is a must during the months of July and August, as the mosquitos are very active. I'd highly recommend this hike to outdoor enthusiasts.

Devils Lake Cascade Lakes Highway Near Bend Oregon
Devils Lake is located on the Cascade Lakes Highway in the Cascade Mountains right outside of Bend, Oregon. This was such a beautiful lake with amazing blue and green colors.
Getting to Devils Lake is really easy, you just drive on the Cascade Lakes Highway and you will eventually see Devils Lake (pretty hard to miss) and see the sign.
