The Making Of The Mace - a short documentary

In April 2019, Missouri Western received a new ceremonial mace, which is used at the University’s Commencement and other ceremonies. It was designed and created by the St. Joseph (Missouri) Woodworkers Guild, and the medallions were provided by David Takes of Expressions Engraved in St. Joseph. The Guild members, known for their service to the community, also designed and built a new stand for the mace.
