California 101: Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks
Sequoia & Kings Canyon National Parks encompass some of the most majestic sights not just in California, but anywhere in the world. Find a commanding perspective at Panoramic Point; drive through a fallen giant at Tunnel Log; sleep under the stars at Lodgepole Campground; behold the General Sherman Tree; go into the underworld at Crystal Cave; and climb Moro Rock. Kings Canyon: Buck Rock to Panoramic Point Drive
This drive takes you from Buck Rock (a fire tower in Sequoia National Forest) to the Grant Grove area of Kings Canyon National Park, and up to Panoramic Point. You won't get a good view from the Drivelapse camera from either destination, but the views along the way are pretty good!
MyDrivelapse.com and Takemytrip.com provide driving videos and stories to help you plan your trip. Check out hundreds of videos on my YouTube channel. Subscribe if you like it! Dozens of new videos are on the way in the coming weeks.
I made this trip in June 2018. Video shot with a Brinno TLC-200 Pro time-lapse camera mounted on my roof with a homemade magnetic case. I travel with two Brinno cameras - one facing forward, the other in reverse. Sometimes the reverse camera captures better video (fewer raindrops and bugs hit the rear-view lens).

Generals Highway Northbound - Sequoia National Park, Sequoia NF, Kings Canyon National Park
Traveling over the whole Generals Highway, crossing Sequoia National Park, Sequoia National Forest and Kings Canyon National Park. The video shows Generals Highway northbound - from the Ash Mountain entrance to Sequoia National Park to the Big Stump entrance (exit) to Kings Canyon National Park.
Generals Highway - this is its proper spelling - is a 52.3-kilometer (32.5-mile) Californian highway connecting Highway 198 and Highway 180. It is one of the most scenic roads in the United States - and, in my opinion, in the world. Generals Highway crosses the Sequoia National Park, the Giant Sequoia National Monument section of the Sequoia National Forest and Kings Canyon National Park.

Take a look around a standard twin queen bed room at the Cedar Grove Lodge in King's Canyon National Park.
The drive to this place is amazing (link below for that) and the location is awesome. However, I think the owners of this place know this - they know people want to come and for that, they do not invest in this property. Most people here will camp, but for some, like us, we are not fans of camping (and coming from the UK - we didn't pack for camping).
The room was stayed in was very dirty and it's a shame because everyone we met who worked there were very nice and friendly people.
Have a look for yourself .

Yosemite, Sequoia and Kings canyon
Rented a Electra-glide from Laidlaws in LA. Started the trip going up 395 then to Yosemite..
Panoramic Point at Grants Lodge, Kings Canyon NP
This spectacular view can be reached by taking the road behind Grants Lodge, Kings Canyon NP, to its end. A quarter mile uphill hike from the parking lot will bring you to this spectacular view. The hike is moderately strenous but well worth the effort. You will get a panoramic view of Kings Canyon.

Sequoia National Park - Moro Rock, Tokopah Falls, Panoramic Point, Hume Lake GoPro
Visited Sequoia National Park and Kings Canyon National Park for the weekend. It was like 25 degrees, perfect weather :)
Moro Rock was a short trail but the view was magnificent. A park ranger suggested Tokopah Falls. This trail was the longest from them all and definitely worth it. You're basically hiking along the river where you can stop to relax and enjoy the sound of nature.
I do not own the music. It's property of its owner.
