Phil's Trail: Quest for Flow in Bend, Oregon
Phil's Trail: Quest for Flow in Bend, Oregon
A fitting trail to end our quest of flow in Bend. Phil's trail is a 6-mile hyper-smooth XC single track that's perfect for every skill level, especially for beginners like me. ????????
Next week's video is about our GORGEOUS McKenzie River Trail (MRT) ride. Easily the most beautiful and jaw-dropping scenery along a single track deep through the forest crossing multiple waterfalls and river crossings. STAY TUNED!!

Mountain Biking Bend Oregon With The Loam Wolf! (Whoops Trail)
We had an amazing time visiting Bend Oregon and hanging out with The Loam Wolf! Our first ride was a local favorite called Whoops in the Phils trail system and it was a blast! Bend is definitely high on our list of places we have loved!

lower whoops trail Bend, OR
climbing pine drops (some of it) and decending lower whoops (all of it) on may 26 2019. damp dirt made an awesome day at phils. this was run number 3 so was a little tired. rolled a few things and hit what i was still comfortable with. yeah its a little shakey but thats how it feels where youre there. no gymbal here. bummer we forgot the cameras on tylers later in the day, its flow like whoops but 3x as long and way faster!
Bend Oregon COD Trail
The combination of Funner and COD is my favorite ride in Bend. Here is a sample of the COD section down to the ranger station (at The Inn of Seventh Mountain).

Quest for Flow in Bend Oregon - Whoops Trail
Quest For Flow in Bend, Oregon - Whoops Trail
There's excellent singletracks in Bend, OR and we were in a quest to find them. We started on Skyliners Trail and climb up to the start of the Whoops trail downhill. It is THE BEST flowy trail I've ever ridden and fits perfectly with my current riding ability.
The dirt is dialed. Bike is dialed. Let's have some crazy FUN!

Mt. Bachelor Bike Park with Carson, Reed, Kyle, and Kate Meyer
Why do pro mountain bikers Carson Storch, Reed Boggs, Kyle Jameson, and Kate Meyer live in Bend at bike at Mt. Bachelor? A variety of lift-served downhill trails, fun, loose terrain, and our favorite town of Bend a few minutes down the road are just a few good reasons.

MTB A free-riders paradise | Black Rock Mountain Bike Area Oregon
Went out to Black Rock in Oregon today to film some friends mountain biking. Enjoy. The Black Rock trail system is located outside Falls City, southwest of Salem. Designated as an IMBA Epic Ride by the International Mountain Bicycling Association, Black Rock consists of smooth terrain bolstered by extensive human-built wooden features, including skinnies, ladders and jumps. You’ll also encounter big gaps, berms and drops in this free-rider’s paradise.
I recommend having previous mountain biking experience, as all the terrain is rated for intermediate to extreme skill levels. If you’ve ridden before but aren’t super-comfortable with free-riding and human-built features, the Basic Training area can help you get acquainted — and if you get stuck on the mountain, all trails have ride-around routes to help you get down safely. (But before you ride down, you may want to camp out for a while — Black Rock has great spots in the woods where spectators can watch skilled riders hit the massive features.)
